Chapter 12 - Pleasure   Athena POV   "I can't believe we're doing this." I groaned as I got out of bed. Phoenix stayed silent as I approached his door.   "If he doesn't answer the first knock, we're turning around and going back to bed," I said, more to myself than her.   "Whatever you say," Phoenix laughed. Her excitement was twisting my stomach in knots. I reached up to the door and tapped gently, hoping he didn't hear it and I could retreat to my warm and safe bed. I waited a moment before letting out a sigh of relief and disappointment. I didn't know why I let her talk me into coming, but at the same time, she didn't really have to do much convincing.  

Chapter 14 - Lies   Athens POV   I was in and out of consciousness the whole walk back to the packhouse. Being with Alpha Erik made the pain tolerable. My body had already sweated out the sedative he gave me. I was coated in a thick layer of sweat, and my muscles were shaking from exhaustion. I couldn't make out anything anyone was saying.
