Lahat ng Kabanata ng Secret Love: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

A young girl of about 19 came up to our table after Dixon waved her over and glanced between us in curiosity. Her name tag read 'Megan', she's really pretty with her natural red hair and the freckles scattered all over her nose."Hello, I'm Megan. How can I help you today?" She asked with a pen and note in hand. I gave the menu a quick glance before deciding to go with the simple sausage egg sandwich."Can we get a plate of your Working Man's breakfast? I'll have some pancakes and bacon for myself." I opened my mouth to protest that I couldn't possibly eat that much but my stomach growled reminding me o the fact that I haven't eaten anything since I ate my Raspberry Swirl Loaf which I didn't even get to finish. I bit my lip and lowered my gaze in embarrassment."What would you like to drink, Princess?" Dixon asked, making me raise my head to look at him."I'll have a cappuccino, please." I told the waitress with a small smile. "Thank you."Once the wait

I stood in front of the stove as I cooked some eggs and bacon for Liam, I honestly don't know who eats eggs and bacon in the afternoon but you can never say with Liam. I was dressed in my long sleeve t-shirt dress and my hair was up in a bun. I got home about an hour ago after which Liam came in about 10 minutes later from school with Vicky. They were surprised to see me back at that time cause I was always working long hours at the office. Vicky was fired from her job cause the company went bankrupt, I tried to look for a spot for her at Wright's but she insisted she's okay with looking after Liam and taking care of the house which I didn't mind.I turned the stove off and put the eggs on Liam's plate. I went to the fridge and grabbed the strawberry juice that is especially for Liam and poured it into his cup. I grabbed the food and walked over to the counter where Liam was playing a game on his iPad. I set the food in front of him as he looked up and put the phone away as h

I slowly peered my eyes open as it finally sank in.I kissed my pretend boyfriend, and I initiated it. I bowed my head in shame as I couldn't face him with the stunt I just pulled. I mean, how can I be the one to initiate a kiss when I told him to keep his lips to himself.'Stupid McKenna. You just had to kiss him, didn't you?' I thought to myself, still looking down."Look at me." He said, and I slowly lifted my head to see him leaning closer to me. I could see the dangerous glimmer in his eyes.I swallowed hard, unable to look directly into his grey eyes. I glanced away and was about to run out of the room in shame when he suddenly grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me up against him, his mouth anchoring on mine.Holy mother of all things created, There are fireworks. The sudden flare of heat and electricity that swept through me startled me into a frozen state where I could hear and see nothing except the sudden

Dixon's POVI looked over to the blond-haired woman with whom I have fallen so deeply in love with, sitting next to me. The same woman I vowed to love until the day I die, even though she knows nothing about my undying love for her.If I was honest, I was surprised when she kissed me at the office in the morning. It is so much more than I had imagined. If I ever doubted my love for her, I am more than sure now that she's the one for me.I do not know how to tell her. I do not know how to tell her that her brother might not make it out of surgery. I watched as relief flooded her muscles when I lied to her and told her that her brother would be out of surgery soon.I hate the fact that I lied to her or that I couldn't tell her what's going on;20 Minutes Earlier."Go sit, sweetheart." I said to her after noticing how stressed and tired she was. I knew just how worried and scared she is for her brother."Who are

McKenna's POV.What do I do? I wanted to call Luke and tell him about the note, but I know he's mad at me at the moment.I need to clear my head a bit, I thought to myself. I picked up my phone and called Adeline. She always knows what to do. She picked up on the second ring."Hey, girl. How are you doing?" She said after she picked up the phone."I'm good. Do you think we can maybe meet up for lunch? I have something to discuss with you." "Of course, that shouldn't be a problem. Where should we meet?" She asked. I could hear the shuffles in the background. I know how busy she can be, but she'll never say no when I need her."I'll come to you, and we can go somewhere close to the office.""That's fine too. I'll see you soon?""Definitely," I said and hung up. I stared at the note continuously for a long time. I looked up to see it is almost lunchtime. I still have to drive 30 minutes to get to Wright's Enterprises. I step
