As Leah stepped into the Penthouse, she felt like a rock weighing down her footsteps. It was like a hell for Leah, it was the last place she wanted to visit in the world. Jerome snatched Leah's handbag and threw it onto the floor, Leah stood still, did not comment. She counted in her heart, didn’t know at what count Jerome would begin to torture her. Leah's outstretched hand held a black hairpin pinned to her hair, ensuring it was heading in the right direction.  Leah stood still near the dining table chair, her fist clenched behind her back. "Sit down!" snapped Jerome, his eyes staring at Leah coldly and sharply. Leah didn't argue, she pulled up a dining chair and sat on it with her back straight.
