Sydney     It had been a week since the office party and the spirit of the holiday were in the air. It had also been a week since I had seen Aiden. He'd dropped me off at my house and handed me his card with his phone number, instructing me to call him if I got into any difficulty. I kept the card safe in my wallet this time. Sydney   Leah, Mike, and I went out for our last meal together the day before the 'wedding.' Mike's Steakhouse was our destination. Mike was grumpy as usual, and I was agitated. He'd been particularly silent recently; perhaps he was still angry with me or mistook me for a gold digger who took the easy way out. Maybe he was correct. He dropped us near our door and was about to climb up for his flat when I called him. He stopped and looked at me curiously.     "Are you mad at me?" As I have stated this story will have multiple points of views. The next chapter will have the author's point of view in the first half and the Character's point of view in the second half. This story is going to have a lot of twists and turns hence I am using this approach of writing the story. Just making it clear so that it's not confusing for the readers. Also, Sydney might appear as a weak character to some. She is supposed to be weak. Not all women are born strong.
