KIRA’S POV I was sitting in my office preparing myself for a meeting with one of my clients. CHAPTER 2

After high school I had highest GPA from the school and therefore I earned myself a full ride scholarship to Michigan States University where I studied business management. My college time was much easier and I made a few friends. There was this one guy who forced himself in my life despite me trying to push him away. Dylan fought hard to become friends with me seeing to it as I didn’t have any close friends and I was alone most of the time. He made me get coffees with him at the café around college and smiled and waved every time he saw me. Other than Dylan my life in campus was pretty much boring. Jake has a very demanding job and barely has time to spend with his wife and therefore he uses every opportunity he gets. He loves Laila and their son very much and he treats me like a younger sister. I tell Laila I’m headed to pick Brad up. I headed towards the bathroom and soon after headed downstairs. I found Brandon eagerly waiting in the kitchen to help me make breakfast. I opened the cupboard and got all the ingredients for pancakes and went ahead to mix them together. I allowed Brandon to help me in pouring the mixture in the pan. Soon after, we were done with breakfast and I poured honey on top of mine while Brandon poured strawberries.After breakfast was done, we decided to sit in the living room and watch a movie then head out shopping. I did not realize when I fell asleep. I woke up to the sound of someone’s snores very close to my ear. I looked besides me and saw Josh sound asleep with his head lying on my shoulder. I did not expect to be affected by his touch. I was however surprised when I felt tingles where his body made contact with mine. This scared me shitless because I was afraid to even think that he affected me.I wanted to wake him up but decided against it. After all it would not be a crime having him sleep at my house.
