It's been two months since I've moved into the pack house with Aidan. Everything has been going smoothly ever since. I've been studying under Luna Leigh-Anne to take over when Aidan and I have to take over from her and Alpha Markus. I haven't had any more incidents with Hadley because of my two body guards, Sky and Adrian (the same ones that come shopping with me). They follow me everywhere which I don't mind except when it's trying to come into the girls bathroom. I wouldn't say we're friends but we all have a mutual respect for each other. I've drifted apart from Addy, we all have. She's under so much stress and won't let any of us help her. Poor Nick is going out of his mind. (Everyone seems to think their mates but I'm not so sure about it.) I have grown closer to Chiara. She has always been and will continue to be one of my favourite people. It's my birthday in a few days and we're having a ball to celebrate. That brings us to now. I'm standing in a dress shop look

"Ow!" The makeup artist pinches my cheek for the up tenth time today. The party is gorgeous. My dress is gorgeous and, despite all the poking and pinching, my hair and make up are gorgeous. I stand from my chair and straighten my dress. "Oh my goddess!" Luna Leigh-Anne gasps from the door. "You look gorgeous." She begins to usher me to the party downstairs. Everyone is already here, laughing and drinking and dancing. It is all so perfect. I start walking around and greeting people, making idle chitchat. I'm talking to Ben's parents when warm hands wrap around my waist. "Alpha. Luna. Do you mind if I steal my mate away?" He asks sweetly. They both shake their heads with a knowing smile. Aidan laces our fingers together and we walk through the party until we are in one of the board rooms. Once he closes the door, Aidan walks me backwards until the back of my legs hit the table. He lifts me up so I'm sitting and he kisses me. Deeply and pass

“I’m hungry.” I mumble with my head propped up on both hands, eyes half closed and slumped into a kitchen island chair.  “I know, baby.” He kisses my head and walks to the kitchen door. “I’ll look for an omega now.”We’ve been upstairs dealing with the heat since 3 this morning. We missed breakfast and lunch. And with all the activity, I’m starving. But I have no more energy left. Nothing. The heat’s settled down enough for us to come downstairs and eat something before going back upstairs to either sleep of fuck. Aidan comes back in to rummage through the kitchen to make us something. The omegas don’t like when pack members cook in the kitchen but if Aidan can’t find an omega to make me food, he’ll make me food. Like he always says, ‘you can have whatever you want.’ And if I want something to eat, he’ll make me something to eat.
