 Ya Irfan!! was what he heared that made him still in his position wondering if he heard her right calling him Ya Irfan. He quickly pressed the button again waiting for the doctor to come in. Nasreen's vision was blurry, as she drowsily closed her heavy eyelids again. "No please Nasreen stay with me." But she couldn't apprehend what was happening at all. He held her cold and slender fingers. He wanted running out to call the doctor but he couldn't leave her all by herself so he pressed the button again,  that was when the nurse came in.  He stuttered as he explained how she was awake and called his name.."That is good, she remembers your name."The nurse said cheerfully.  It was then Irfan's thoughts drifted back to what she said..  She never liked using swear words but today she had to use them. 'Kam burauba!' She picked the hair spray on her dresser and threw it at him. He dodged it, she looked around, the next thing she saw was her  Elizabeth Arden perfume."Don't throw that you would regret it later." She looked at it and did as if she wanted to keep it, and Irfan became relaxed almost immediately. The next thing he heard was the squashing sound of the perfume. "Stop it Nas," He walked up to her and held her hands firmly. Her breathing was ragged, her blood was boiling, there was no calming down.   "Calm down okay." "Don't  you tell me to calm down, cause I can remember you thrashing things I was pleading with you and you sent me away." She let herself loose from his hold. And nuzzled her hands in her hair and held both sides of her head tight she recalled everything Irfan did to her, it came crashing down on her.

 The days passed, weeks passed, and months passed, Nasreen became heavy with pregnancy. She looked at her ripened figure in the mirror, the touched her high chubby cheekbones, she had grown from every where even her nose. She was always complaining to Irfan that the nose won't go back to its normal size. Irfan always told her she looked even more beautiful.That was why her sisters and husband decided to throw her a surprise baby shower. Coupled with it was their one year anniversary, one year of different trials and tests one year of knowing and loving each other, one year of patience, one year of commitment.   They had almost arrived at the hospital, And Nasreen was exasperated, she had started to feel the baby's head come out. "Oh my God Irfan." She said and gripped his shoulder tightly. The doctor told Irfan that his wound had to be treated with immediate effect. But he insisted that he wanted to be with his wife. Nasreen had to tell him that she would be alright.
