Mildred was now getting anxious to see the Alpha hybrid. The days of mourning were now almost over.    "He must miss me", she said.   "It's been days since he saw me last".   "Now that he is calm, he must wish to be close to me", she reasoned. He had every reason too, he had a part of her soul and was surely going to crave her attention.   "I just needed not to be where he is", she said, as she got up from the chair she was sitting on.   "I need to find a way to sneak out", she said pacing around her bedroom.    "I have too",   

 Lucas had sneaked back into his apartment building when he returned from his long trek just to deceive the witch from knowing where he lived with his brothers. He took one last look around the door leading into his apartment before he unlocked it and went inside before quickly shutting it. Mark and Andrew were in the sitting room when he walked in and they saw how quickly he shut the door behind him. He also looked like he was hiding from someone. "Welcome back, how did your date go?", Mark asked. He didn't want to comment immediately on why he seemed unlike his usual self, he seemed troubled. "It was perfect, I had a great time with Nicole", Lucas said as he walked towards them to have his seat.

 It's been almost a day since Nicole last saw either Angela or Charles. Since then he hadn't heard or seen either of them, which was usual. She would have gone to check up on them earlier than this but she had a date with Lucas this evening and had to wait until her date with him was over. She thoroughly enjoyed her time out with him, it was truly beautiful and romantic as she had dreamt about. But now she was missing the company of her best friend Angela and her boyfriend Charles and so she drove to Angela's apartment to see if they were there. She parked by the street before getting down from her muscle car and walking to her front door. She tried to open the door, usually like her Angela didn't usually lock her front door but it was locked. She rang the doorbell and waited for her to come open the door but she didn't.

Nicole was surprised that Charles believed the trio of Lucas, Mark and Andrew could take on Lord Dracula and thousands of original vampires and win. It was a big revelation, one she had never considered before. She had feared that if the identities of Lucas and his brothers were revealed as the vampire hybrids they would easily be killed by hundreds of vampires, hence she vowed to keep it secret but she was wrong. It seemed they were invincible! "Okay", she said finally, accepting what he said could be true but she was going to speak with Lucas first before concluding on the matter. She needed to hear his own side of the story too. "So you finally accept they hybrids were responsible for Sir Paul's death?", Charles asked to be sure. Angela also listened to hear her response.

Nicole woke up suddenly from her sleep. It was only a dream. "It was only a nightmare", she whispered to herself, as she sat up in bed but it seemed very real. She listened from the guest room to know she disturbed the sleep of the others but she heard no sound. "Good, they are still sound at sleep", she said. She was glad it was just a dream but it was a shocking dream to her. "I could never do what I did in my dream, could I?", she asked herself, deeply troubled.  "If I was to choose between my love for Lucas and Angela, who would I pick?", she asked herself.
