Nicole got back into her car and felt a little relieved she had summoned the courage to tell Lucas the truth about himself after the shocking revelation he had just told her. He had killed over 8,000 vampires in the space of some few weeks he had known her, while she had killed zero people all her life, since she was given birth to as a vampire. She didn't want to fully think of all the implications her action would cause her later, as she started the car and slowly drove off into the empty street.  She was going to drive home. Her adrenaline levels were still high as she was still breathing fast from the experience she just had and was trying to steady her breath as she drove. It took her a while to get it under control with deep repeated breaths. &

 Lucas was back inside his apartment where he saw his brothers standing who had overheard his conversation with Nicole.  It was not really a conversation but more of an argument. At first they didn't know what to say to Lucas as he walked in. He had an angry look on his face. He sounded all relaxed in front of Nicole but now she was gone it appears the monster in him was taking over. "What are you looking at?!", he said angrily, walking past them. "I overheard everything. Your girlfriend was quite loud, it was difficult not to hear your conversation", Mark said. "You still referred to Nicole as my girlfriend?"he asked, surprised. His anger seemed to die down a little. 

 Nicole laid down her head to sleep as Angela joined her too. She closed her eyes waiting for the sleep to arrive as she tried not to worry what will become of Lucas and her in the morning. "Sorry, I just remembered I forgot to lock the front door", Angela said. She only shut it when they got in but didn't bolt it from the inside or lock it with her spare key. "Let me go and lock it quickly", she said, as she attempted to get off the bed. "No", Nicole said, as she held onto her by her arm, preventing her from getting off the bed. Angela was surprised she was quick to stop her from locking her front door. "Please leave it unlocked", she pleaded.

Katharine and Vladimir had set off to accomplish the task given to them by Dracula. They had been assigned to look for a way to call a truce between the vampires and the werewolves. They knew they had been the one to break the relative period of peace between them by attacking the werewolves at their home territory. They knew it was just a matter of time before the werewolves would be seeking for their blood and their revenge. But for now there was peace, the peace of a graveyard, the peace before the storm. "How do you plan on achieving this?", Katharine asked Vladimir as they walked along the partially lit road by night. They were headed for an exclusive club where they could relax and get some human blood bags. "I wished Cobra or Silas were still alive, this was the sort of thing they enjoyed brainstorming about", Vladimir said.  Vladimir seemed surprised. "12 human blood bags by one lady, it still doesn't add up", he said.  "It is impossible for someone to drink that number of blood bags", he insisted. "I agree with you, it is literally impossible", Katharine said. "I personally think she bought it for others", she said. "That is the most sensible conclusion", Vladimir responded.
