Darius was a young man but he had been given the training of a future king and because of that, he was wiser than most people his age. His brother Lucius who was raised in America was also a very wise young man that could actually be said to even be wiser than Darius. It is because of this wisdom that Alpha Darius was a little bit resistant. He wasn’t as enthusiastic as he would have ordinarily been about what King Barroc was telling him and he had his reasons. Until recently, only some of the members of the royal family knew about Yemanja’s curse, and even for those who knew about it, it had been a matter that wasn’t talked about. And so the curse and its effects had faded to the background. Not until recently when things started to get a little bit clearer did they know that Yemanja’s curse had indeed been real.
