Heading Home
Quinn's Point of View I was rudely awoken the next morning by the fire alarm. I quickly jumped out of bed, noting that Nathan wasn't beside me and ran down to the kitchen. I could hear Nathan swearing as soon as I opened our bedroom door. I stepped into the kitchen and couldn't see Nathan for the smoke. I ran and opened the back door to let the smoke out before switching off the cooker, grabbing Nathan’s hand and pulling him outside as Summer and Noah stepped out.“Are you trying to burn the house down? I asked. He scratched the back of his neck, a move I recognise he does when he's embarrassed. Summer and Noah snickered in the background.“I was trying to make you breakfast in bed before you left.” I literally swooned a little at his admission.

The Party
Quinn's Point of View We pulled up outside the packhouse, and Liam came running out as if he hadn't just seen us two days ago. A lot of pack members were out the front, and I saw a few of my dads friends that clearly were not happy to see me. Liam pulled us both inside, and I saw Jake and Emma, so we went over to say hello and to give Emma her car keys back. Liam had got boxes for us to pack up our things, so we split up to go to our rooms. My room was the exact same as when I left it months ago. I didn’t even come to my room the last time I was here. I let Summer pack my bags for me. Liam came in about 10 minutes later to help.“I’m so happy you found your mate, Quinn. He is a good guy, and I know he’ll look after you.”“We’ll look after each other.” I chirped happily “oh, and

The Proposal
Quinn's Point of View “Nathan, what are you doing here.” I gasped, throwing my arms around him as he twirled me around.“I didn't want to be without you. I hope you don't mind.” he blushed as he looked at me.“I don't mind at all. Come dance with me.” a slow song started as Nathan wrapped his arms around me, and I rested my head on his chest when a thought hit me. “Did Liam know you were coming?” I asked. He laughed loudly. “Yes, I phoned and asked him if it was ok. As soon as you left, I decided I was coming, but I had a few things to sort first. Noah wanted to come too; then Asher decided it was a great chance for him, you know, to hit on more girls.”“I’m so glad your here.&

Heading Home
Quinn's Point of View “Quinn Quinn, wake up” I felt someone shaking me. I groggily opened my eyes and saw Summer and Asher leaning over me.“What are you two doing here, and where is Nate” I sat up, carefully pulling the covers over me.“He’s with Liam and Noah. We came to get you for breakfast, but if we leave it much longer, it will be lunchtime. Get your lazy bum up. Come on, let’s go.” She clapped her hands together. “Are you ok? You don't usually sleep this long.” “I'm ok, Summer. I am exhausted, though, and last night must have taken it out of me.” I obviously meant the party, but I saw Asher’s face, and I quickly ushered them out of my room before I pulled myself from the bed and threw on my clothes, and

Home Sweet Home
Quinn's point of view Summer and I took the boys around the pack showing them the hospital where I worked and the nursery where Summer worked, then our old school and the park, and finally the creek in the woods where we used to spend most of our time. Whenever we passed the older pack members who would glare at me, Nathan would squeeze my hand so tight I thought he might break it. I knew he was angry and trying not to start a fight and I kept quickly distracting him whenever it happened with Summer’s help. Although I didn't need him to defend me, it did feel good that he got so furious at the thought of someone upsetting me. After the tour, we picked up our bags and said goodbye to Liam, and then we headed home. Summer and Noah left in Summer’s car, and Nathan and I took Nathan's car whilst Asher drove mine as Nathan didn't trust him to drive his car. We spe

Dress Shopping
Quinn's point of view “Wow, a second chance, mate, that's amazing,” I told Megan as I shared a look with Summer.“It's just a possibility. I don't care. All I know is that my wolf and I are ok and I'm back home, at least for now. I haven't officially asked to join yet.” “I think it'll be ok. I've got connections.” I joked, winking at Megan. She smiled at me. “Thanks for taking me out today. I was going a bit stir crazy stuck inside.”“Have you been stuck inside,” Summer asked?“I tried to go out, but all the girls I grew up with have all found their mates and moved packs. I went for a walk, and half the pack were staring at the girl whose ma

Callum
Quinn's point of view I couldn't take my eyes off Callum. What the hell was he doing here. I found myself subconsciously moving closer to Nathan. I felt Nathan tense beside me as he watched Callum and the man at his side with a neutral expression on his face.-what's wrong? I can feel your fear- Nathan mind linked me as Noah closed the door and showed Callum and the other man to their seats.-Callum is Xavier’s brother- I mind linked back.“Alpha Nathan, it's lovely to meet you finally. “I'm Alpha Callum from Red Crescent, and this is my Beta Ross; we spoke on the phone earlier,” Callum announced with a smile as he introduced himself and his Beta.“Yes, I remember, but I didn't realise that you were Alpha Xavier’

Lunch and Cocktails
Quinn’s point of view Lunch was fun, or to be more accurate, the cocktails were delightful. The waitress kept bringing us drinks and was spending more and more time at our table; it was apparent she had her eye on Asher. When I mentioned that to Asher, he fixed me with a death stare and informed me that he was not leaving my side for a second until Nathan told him he was free to do so. He even followed me to the bathroom, thankfully deciding to wait outside. Personally, I thought he was taking things a bit far, but he didn’t want to get on the wrong side of his brother again. Megan and Summer found it hysterical and were doing their level best to annoy Asher and even went as far as to try embarrassing him. That fell flat as I don't think anything could embarrass him. -Are you still with Asher- Nathan's voice slithered around my head, making me feel warm and fuzzy. That might have just been the a

Cake Tasting
Quinn's point of view We had more cocktails and more food; we sat and talked, and joked most of the night. I noticed Megan was laughing and joking with the rest of us, but I saw the painful look in her eye when she thought no one else was watching. Tomorrow will be hard for her to visit the sister that not only killed her mate but tried to kill her. I couldn't imagine Liam doing anything like that to me or vice versa. It was unfathomable. Summer and I would be there for Megan and help her get through it once Allie is banished, and I still had high hopes that she would find her second chance, mate. Nathan nudged me out of my thoughts. “Shouldn't we be heading home? You have your first day at the pack hospital tomorrow.” He whispered in my ear, making me shiver. “Yeah, we should definitely go home,” I told him, marvelling at how husky my voice suddenly sounded. Nathan must have noticed

Banishing Allie
Quinn's point of view “It's time to wake up, baby. Megan's ready to visit Allie; then you have to go to work.” Nathan whispered in my ear. “Go away” I pushed him away, although not far.He was entirely too cheerful for my liking this early in the morning. I opened my eye and saw the biggest smirk on his gorgeous face with those caramel eyes twinkling.“Why are you up so early.” I groaned as I pulled the duvet over my head. “It's 9.30. Quinn, I’ve been at work for hours. Megan wants to visit Allie, so I came back to wake you up. I've brought breakfast.” he murmured, gently pulling the duvet off me. “I'll go set breakfast out while you get dressed.” I didn't know why I slept so late, but I better get a move on. I quickly showered and dressed, then brushed my hair and put it in a bun before head
