First Day
Quinn's point of view I walked inside and up to the reception desk and was thankful that Michelle wasn't there. It was someone else, and I briefly wondered if that was a coincidence or deliberate. The brown haired girl sitting behind the desk gave me a friendly smile as I walked to her desk. “Hi, can I help you?” she asked with a big smile. “I'm Quinn; I am starting work here today with Emily,” I told her, feeling nervous all over again. The girl suddenly jumped to her feet. “Hello Luna, how lovely to meet you. I'm Phoebe. If you will follow me ill take you to Emily.” “It's nice to meet you, Phoebe; please call me Quinn,” I told her as I followed her through the hall to Emily’s office. Phoebe knocked on the door and waited until Emily shouted, come in before we entered

Lunch with Asher
Quinn's point of view I knocked on Nathan's office door and waited as I didn't want to waltz in and interrupt him if he was busy. “Come in,” he shouted in his deep voice. I entered to find him behind his desk buried in a mountain of paperwork with Noah looking over his shoulder and Asher reclining on the small couch against the wall. Nathan smiled and relaxed when he saw me.“How did you get on?” “It was great, but I have a lot of reading to do and homework. Do you have a computer I could use?.” it had only occurred to me that I didn't have a computer for the online work. “I knew you would need one, so I bought you a laptop; it's at home third drawer in the kitchen behind the door.”I melted at how sweet he was. I hadn't even thought of it, but not only had he, but he'd gone to the

Pictures
Quinn’s point of View I opened my eyes to darkness; the only light was the glare from the telly. I must have fallen asleep watching the telly, and I assumed Asher must have put the cover over me once I had fallen asleep. I headed out the back door towards the noise and saw all my friends around the picnic table eating Chinese takeout. “Are you sure your not a cat? You’re either sleeping or eating.” Asher teased as I sat down on Nathan’s lap and cuddled into him. “Leave her alone”, Nathan warned, tightening his arms around me. “Her first day obviously took it out of her.” Summer stood up, grabbing an empty plate and started filling it with all my favourites before sitting it down in front of me with a smile. “Eat up, Quinn.” “Thanks, Sum. Did you get your secret bridesmaid stuff d

Making Up
Today wasn't off to the best start, and my day got even worse when I entered the hospital and saw Michelle behind the reception desk. Luckily for me, Amy came out of the staff room. “Hey, Quinn, do you want a coffee before you start. Emily isn't in yet, so you have time?” Amy smiled, linking my arm as we headed into the staff room. “Emily has a couple of appointments this morning, and she wants you to shadow her, but before that, she wants me to do training with you on the drug inventory.” “Ok, that sounds good.” I made a coffee, and Amy took me to the drug storage room and showed me how they recorded all the drugs that came in and how we double check the meds that get used for patients. We were halfway through when we heard a commotion from the reception area. I recognised Nathans voice straight away. I rushed out with Amy hot on my heels.

Moonlight Walk
Quinn's point of view “I'm worried about her, and I think all this stress is making her ill.” Summer whispered from the kitchen. I had woken up on the couch a few minutes ago and hearing hushed voices from the kitchen. I must have fallen asleep on the sofa during the film. “She's tired, Summer, that's all.” Nathan sounded exasperated. “Nathan, I have known Quinn my whole life, and this isn't like her. This whole past week, she's been falling asleep at the drop of a hat, and even when she's awake, she looks tired and quite frankly ill.” Summer snapped. “I’ll keep an eye on her, and I can speak to Emily if you're that worried.” “I'm fine”, I shouted from the living room, alerting them to the fact I was now awake. Summer and Nathan walked into

Surprise
Quinn's point of view When my alarm sounded the next morning, I was still exhausted. Nathan was right about my jealousy being a turn on which he repeatedly proved all night. I pulled myself from my bed and into the shower and quickly got myself ready for my dress fitting. If I’m honest, I was super excited about trying on my dress again, so much so that it surprised I would have never thought of myself as the type of girl to be this excited about a dress I’m not exactly a girly girl. Still, the thought of seeing my dress again sets butterflies off in my stomach.I rushed downstairs when I heard the back door opening. Summer and Megan walked in wearing matching smiles and carrying containers of food. “We picked up breakfast from the packhouse,” Megan announced as she set it on the table whilst Summer poured us drinks. “I bumped into Asher at the packhouse”, Summ

Celebration
Quinn's point of view Emily’s words kept running through my head. I'm pregnant. It still didn't seem real. I swore Sarah, Megan and Summer to secret until I had a chance to tell Nathan, but first, I had to clear my head. I took my phone out and called Liam. Liam: Hey, is everything ok? You don't usually phone me. I'm lucky if I get a text. Me: I'm pregnant. Liam was quiet for so long I was starting to think he'd hung up or he fainted. Me: Are you still there, Liam? Liam: Yes, sorry, I just wasn't expecting that it was a bit of a shock. Me: Yeah, no kidding. Liam: How did Nathan take it. Me: I haven't told him yet, but I know he'll be happy about it. He can't wait for kids. Liam: what about you? Are you

Doctors Appointment
Quinn's point of view  After a long night with Nathan’s parents, we headed home on cloud nine. Nathan couldn't stop smiling, and he was already talking about baby names. I tried to tell him to calm down as it was very early, so we had plenty of time, but he was so excited it was hard to put a damper on things for him. Summer, Noah and Megan were all in the back garden when we arrived home. Noah gave us a smile before noticing our matching grins. “What’s going on? he asked, looking from us to the girls next to him. Nathan looked at me silently, asking if he could tell them; unbeknown to him, the girls knew, so I nodded. “We found out today we are expecting our first pup.” Nathan was bursting with pride, and it was written all over his face. “Congratulations, you two.” Noah ran over, fist bumpi

Gender Reveal
Quinn’s point of view  “Don’t tell anyone about what we are planning for the gender reveal. I want to keep that a surprise.” I told Nathan as we stood outside his parent's suite. “Okay, whatever you want,” he promised. “I’ll follow your lead. Sarah opened the door and ushered us inside “how did you get on at the doctor's.” “All is well, and we have decided to throw a pool party tomorrow and do a small gender reveal at four if that’s ok.” “That’s fine; we will be there. So you know what you're having.” She squealed with excitement. “No, Emily is going to phone me in the morning, but I can plan the party now,” I told her. We left soon after so I could go shopping for the f

Sweet Dreams
Quinn's point of view Loud banging pulled me from my sleep which was a shame as I was having a lovely dream about Jay from Chicago PD. I pulled myself out of bed and towards the noise that had woken me and found Nathan and Noah clearing out one of the spare bedrooms. “What are you doing,” I asked, startling both men. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to wake you,” Nathan told me apologetically. “Then don’t bang about at the crack of dawn,” I mumbled grumpily. Both of them chuckled softly as Nathan turned me around to face the hall clock. It was after twelve.“Dammit, why did you let me sleep this late I’m meeting your mum in twenty minutes to go to the bridal store to get measured again.” I turned and ran for our room to quickly get ready. I ran out of the house less than t
