Chapter 10
Dale Daniel’s POV Ryle, Johnny as well as Dwight and Ellaine fell asleep because of exhaustion from our trip. I couldn’t deny that my body felt the same too.  After I changed my clothes into a simple black T-shirt and black jogging pants, I looked for Zyah. Her grandparents were both asleep too. They told us that in the province it’s part of their life to take a nap, siesta, after lunch.  After a minute of searching, I found her sitting, crossing her legs, under the shade of a huge Mango tree in the backyard of the house.  I step closer to her, unhurriedly. “Woman,” I called when I finally got nearer to her. &ldq

Chapter 11
Dale Daniel’s POV  A placid, freezing morning welcomed me as I opened my eyes. I blinked twice, I’ve got a blurry vision from my sleep, momentarily blinded. The ray of moonlight came through the window. The moon still possesses its exquisite beauty even as dawn is coming near.  I decided to rise since I woke up already. I was about to move when I noticed that someone was holding my hand. I slowly turned and I saw a woman sitting on the floor, asleep, holding my hand.  “Zyah?” I uttered, gobsmacked. Rose up from lying and seated, inching forward, I gently touched her hair covering her face and tucked it to her ear. My eyes were pinned on her, she looks so beautiful even when she’s asleep.

Chapter 12
Clarriese Zyah’s POV It’s nearly 1 in the morning when the Community salo-salo finishes. We all went back to our homes with the love present in our hearts. My heart is filled with happiness. We all went to bed when we reached the house since we all felt sleepy and tired too. We’ve been moving all day long.  I heard a phone ring, interrupting my sleep. I am still sleepy and could feel the pain devouring my whole body. I got up from lying and stretched my body. I rubbed my eyes too to recover from my sleep. I reached for my phone and the small table beside the table.  “A new message from Ms. President.” I slid the notification when I unlocked my phone.  “What did Chri

Chapter 13
Clarriese Zyah’s POV It’s already been a week since the news about Dale and Rosaline spreads throughout the campus. They instantly become the talk of almost all of the students at the University. Now, I know why Rosaline has never been good to me. He likes Dale. She admired Dale since she was a freshman until now, she’s in her 2nd year on her course.  Dale completely ignored the issue. He did not release any statement saying it’s not true or such. He believes that if he says something, the situation may turn around.  “It’s been a week already but still you are still the talk of the campus. Don’t you have any plans to correct the news?” I asked while we were having our break time at Riona.

Chapter 14
Dale Daniel's POV “I don’t have any photos left that I could use for my update today.” She frowned and turned her head to me. “You are prepared.”  “You told me so.” “It's February already. I want to spread love today,” she said, laying her head on the table, bummed out.  “Woman?” I called. I reached the camera inside my backpack and stood up from my seat. “Sit here.”  “Huh? Why?” She asked, still in that situation, not moving an inch.  “I’ll take pictures of you.”

Clarriese Zyah’s POV I feel my whole world spinning while I am staring at the laptop’s monitor. I couldn't even read a single word. O could feel like they are moving and getting entangled with each other. Everything gets blurry. The pain in my head gets heavier. I closed my eyes as I rested my head on the table.  “Zyah?” I heard someone call my name but I couldn’t open my eyes. It felt so heavy. I am really in bad shape. “Zy?” I could sense his thoughtful touch on my shoulder, trying his best to wake me up.  “Mm?” It’s difficult for me to utter a word in a dried throat.  “Wake

Chapter 16
Dale Daniel’s POV Day quickly passed by, Zyah already got well and went back to her usual state, the lively her. We are now gathered, the six of us, under the shade of a huge acacia tree at the back area of the university. I have known this place during my junior days but I’ve never been here. Riona office, library, classroom, home, that’s only my routine. But the girls always spend their time here, almost everyday. And today they approach us, asking to be with them. Johnny and Ryle agreed without hesitation, leaving me the only choice, to go with them too. We need to finish lots of activities and projects since graduation is getting nearer.  “Dwight?” Ryle faced her holding a piece of paper.  “Hmm?” Dwight responded, halte

Dale Daniel’s POV Our ceremony just ended a while ago. Most of the graduates are now taking pictures with their families, anywhere at the campus.  I hurriedly went to the university’s field when I received Zyah’s text message saying that she is now waiting for me down there. “Let’s welcome, Mr. Dale Daniel Cuego!” She speaks like a graduation emcee, calling me on stage. “Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Summa Cum Laude.”  “What are you doing here, woman?” I asked as I accepted the bouquet she gave.  She clapped. “Yay! You are now a graduate, Cuego!”

Dale Daniel’s POV “What’s with this unusual ambiance, Cuego?” Ryle asked and lent his hand to me, giving me a canned drink.  I let out a quick smirk after I  accepted his offer. “Just letting my mind wander a little.” “You are spacing out like this. This is not like you!” He teased and drank his drink.  “Hear yourself, Ryle.” We heard Johnny’s voice coming near us. We could hear his loud laughter. “Letting his mind wander a little is nothing. Don't forget that he's a Summa Cum Laude!” He added, grinning.        I thought he wouldn&

Chapter 19
Clarriese Zyah's POV Time came and my friends arrived at our house. It's my birthday and my mom threw a simple party for me. We only prepared food and invited only my friends. Of course, Aunt Lavianna is here too.  "Happy Birthday, Zy!" They all greeted me. They gave me a hug one by one. "Here!" Johnny hands over a yellow paper bag. "My birthday gift," he said.  "Here's mine, Ms. Tehran." Ryle slightly bowed down, reaching out his hand holding a paper bag too. He raised his head and showed his smile. "Please accept my birthday gift, my lady." "Mind yourself, Ryle," Dale warned him, giving him a sharp look.
