Clarriese Zyah's POVI am bothered by what Mr. Scott told me. Every word he said made sense and made me believe that it was really him. I didn't waste any seconds and looked for my laptop. I found myself typing on the keyboard the name of their website. I was discouraged when I found out that it has been quiet for many days already. The featured journalists and writers on their page are more than 10 only. They were about a hundred the last time I visited their page. That Mr. Scott, whoever he is, isn't lying. The Inkwell really is in a dilemma. It seems that they indeed need my help.I continued browsing on their website. Until I found a content that shows Dale was the author of the article. I was hesitant to read it. I had a lot of thoughts that hindered me from clicking it. Yet I still read it at the end. I couldn't blame myself for being too soft-hearted, right?"Fading Chapters," I read the title. These words are quite painful."I am lost

Dale Daniel's POVMisty road, chaotic mind, aching heart.I stepped on gas and sped up my car despite being unsure what lies ahead on the road. I am not drunk. I am just out of my mind trying to get rid of the pain devouring my heart.Due to the thick fog around, I didn't notice the lady who crossed the road. That happened before I could even stop the car. I felt like I was sweating even it's a frigid morning. With my hands shaking, I opened my car's door. I walked towards her with unsteady feet. I felt my whole body trembling.Lying down, unconscious. Her white dress was stained with her own blood. Dreadfully nervous, I went closer to her. Too anxious to see her condition. Fear enveloped my system, nearly shutting down my heart and made me breathless. Oh no. What should I do? Is she dead? When her face became apparent to my vision, my entire world collapsed. I suddenly fell down helplessly. I began crying out her name, begging her to

Dale Daniel's POV"Something bad happened to Zyah.""What?!" I asked but I've got no response. The other line went quiet. When I checked my phone, it turned out that the call had already ended. I tried calling him again but he is out of coverage already."Sir Dale!" I heard someone call me.When I lifted up my head, I saw him, my driver. He was already standing beside the car, waiting for me. When I got nearer he helped me to put my luggage in the trunk."Manong? I need to go somewhere. Can you just take a cab to go back to the house?"He nodded and smiled. "Sure, sir Dale. No problem."I gave him money for his fare. I immediately started the engine of the car when I got on. I couldn't afford to miss another minute. I tried calling Zyah's phone but this time it's unavailable. The fear began to stir inside my chest. I wonder what happened to her. If that's how Dwight and Ellaine reacted, then something big really happened.

Dale Daniel hurried to go home. He couldn't resist his excitement to see his wife after such a tiring day.  "Manang Lydia, where are my ladies?" he asked when he entered the house. "Sir, you are looking for Ma'am Zyah? Aren't you two together?" Manang Lydia replied. "I didn't see them around." Dale wondered where they were. His wife sent him a message that they are home but Manang Lydia says differently. He decided to look for them upstairs.  "Wife? Dhyrine?" He called but he heard nothing from them. He opened the door of their room but no one was there. He went down again, still calling his wife and daughter.
