We celebrate Christmas together in Sequim. I, Devyn, Dad, and Gloria. I am very happy for Dad and Gloria and they are also planning to get married soon. He went home to New York to take care of the crises and he reassures me that everything will be okay. While they talk, I excuse myself to visit Grandpa’s old room. As I stand in front of the door, I smile and take a deep breath. I slowly turn the knob and push the door open. I step inside the room. I can still feel Grandpa’s presence every time I come and visit this room. We never take away his belongings. His old guitar is still hanging on the wall. I walk over near his cabinet.
