I felt the sun wan slowly behind the fabric of the darkened curtains as I laid underneath the satin sheet on my bed. My head rested on the pillow while my arm rested under my neck. I rolled over and stared at the ceiling while my thoughts were at war with what to do about the plan to end this charade with Gabriel. I hated the idea of everyone that I was close to get hurt and being holed up like animals when the reality was that we had done nothing wrong.
