I felt the sun wan slowly behind the fabric of the darkened curtains as I laid underneath the satin sheet on my bed. My head rested on the pillow while my arm rested under my neck. I rolled over and stared at the ceiling while my thoughts were at war with what to do about the plan to end this charade with Gabriel. I hated the idea of everyone that I was close to get hurt and being holed up like animals when the reality was that we had done nothing wrong. Sarene had been forced to make the decision that very day because Gabriel sought out revenge for what had happened at the labs. The truth was this, I was scared.
