Let's Make You A Duke のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar room. I tried to sit up and became dizzy the moment I did.  Where am I? What happened? I tried to steady myself and fight off the headache and dizziness I'm feeling. I took one look around the room slowly and tried to figure out what was happening.  It seems like I'm in a hospital or a clinic. There are three other beds aside from mine, it looks like a ward. I'm trying to remember what happened to me.  Did I finally collapse from overwork? I heard the door open and saw a man enter. Professor Xander. Huh? How did I know that? I don't think I have ever met him before. Wait, no,

I looked at what's inside the door and saw that it was stairs going downwards. I looked up at Professor Xander's face to see what he is up to but he just told me that it leads to his laboratory. I started wondering if he's gonna slice me open or something. I felt scared and the sofa I was sitting on suddenly got sliced into two."I'm not gonna do anything to you. My laboratory is a much better space for you to release your magic than destroying my office. It has seals to control the magic output. I use it to try experimental spells. Nothing deadly, of course." He explained.I still have some apprehension on going down those stairs but he's right, I have been destroying his office. He's not gonna do something to me right?Let's trust him. He's my professor anyway. Maybe I can slice him like the sofa, if he tried anyt

I'm on my way to Professor Xander's office to practice my magic again or to drain my magic so I don't have random outbursts. I entered his office and saw that no one was inside as I had expected. That is the reason why he had given a key to his office. He told me last night that he still has a class by the 14th hour and that he would be free to join me after the 15th hour. I just finished my last afternoon class, calligraphy. Let's not talk about my calligraphy, there is a reason why I chose a computer major.  I proceed to the underground room, and begin my attempt in creating fire again. First, I need to balance the right amount of mana to produce fire. Mana is the magic energy inside our body so using less mana produces less fire or even no fire at all and large amounts of mana produces a large fire or large explosions. The amount of mana used is propo

I was walking in the hallway going to the clinic when I met my lovely little sister Emily with her henchmen. She's looking as cute as ever with her blonde curls, which she inherited from her mother. I think what makes her cuter is her size, she's petite and has a very loveable aura. But if you ask me, I think she's trying too hard to look the part. Unlike me, who is naturally pretty and has an air of elegance, yes, I'm talking about me. I look a little pale and malnourished but that's nothing that can't be fixed with healthy meals and exercise. "Sister, how are you? I heard you were in an accident the other day." She said when she met me, looking all worried. "I am alright now Lady Emily. Thank you for your concern." I replied meekly. "Are you sure? I heard you fell

Once the 15th hour came, Carmella started preparing the milk she collected and the tools I asked her to be created for butter and heavy cream making. While we took a break, I helped Carmella and explained the process. It's not really that hard but she might be turning the knob on the tool for a few hours until we can create butter. Professor Xander and Healer Jan got curious about the tool used to create butter and asked what it was for. I explained to them about the process and they looked interested. They watched Carmella turn the knob but after a few minutes, they lost interest when nothing happened. I told them, it will take hours. These little boys… tsk tsk... I left Carmella and continued to practice while checking on her from time to time. After the first hour
