He said she shouldn't be worried about Arabella but the hell she was. More now since she's going to her place for the first time after learning that they are related. Parking her car, she walked to the door and waited after knocking on it to be led in.A second turned to minutes and no one came to open the door for her. With all patience drained, all she wanted to do is break in and cause a scene but she remembered. No one deserves her anger from the most excruciating week ever except for the dark haired man with rare aquamarine eyes.Reaching her hand out to turn the knob, it opened, leaving her hand in mid-air.The door is now open but no way to get in. Standing at the entrance is Arabella, blocking her way in with a jaw that was almost sweeping the floor for reasons she's yet to know.Destiny snapped her fingers before her and as if in a trance, she blinked."Oh hello. Who are you and what have you done to my

"Are you okay? We can go to my room then we can talk." Ara suggested."It's okay. I'm just going to help clean up.""You don't have to do that.""Of course I have to. It's the only thing I can do after being served such amazing food." Then she walked away. After everyone had eaten, Destiny helped to clear the table with Arabella's mom."Hey, it's fine. You don't have to." Isabella tried to stop her."No. I want to." She said and moved to the sink."Destiny—""Please mom, I want to.""Alright then." Isabella hesitated before finally leaving. She began to load the dishwasher when Ara stepped into the kitchen. She watched her quietly and Destiny, who knew that she was being watched, waited for her to say what she wanted to say."I want to help." She picked a tablecloth to wipe off the counter while Destiny soaks the pots."You look sullen." Ara began. "I could come with you

.."I came here because I couldn't get a hold of you. Neither was Ara"It didn't make sense earlier but it does now to her. But the question was, why was he calling her? Was it job-wise?                            ****"Don't laugh." Wilhelm warned but Destiny could barely keep it in. She bit inside her cheeks to stop the deep laughter waiting to bubble out."Damn it! You're even the cause of this." And then he got up again hurriedly. The laughter came to an end and the smile dropped as well when he said she was the cause."Hey. Are you okay?" Destiny couldn't help but ask when Wilhelm came back from the washroom the umpteenth time."I wish I had not eaten it." He muttered, taking the seat beside her again."Ate what?""Oh, you've forgotten? That shit you prepared last night and called it food." He scoffed.Destiny licked her dry lip

Changing into a violet off-shoulder dress with her wet hair ina messy heap on top of her head, Destiny walked out to look for where the dinner was held. When she didn't see them in the ballroom, she walked to the balcony, and there, all heads turned in her direction. From Mr. Hughes, the manager, to the financial officer, accountant, the production manager, marketing manager then the CEO and his very own assistant also her ex-husband Richard Davidson. "Hi, y'all here." She said, surprised. She sauntered over to Wilhelm, bent slightly, and whispered into his ears. "Congratulations you small Winy, You just blew our cover." Then she

It was a cool breeze with just the right speed at first before it turned warm. She rolled to the other side because it was coming directly into her face. That still didn't stop the warm air from blowing on her face.  It wasn't just a cool or warm breeze anymore. It was more. Like the air has been mixed with mint and each blow to her face drew her more and more awake.'What if it's not a breeze?'  She thought and turned on her back to face heavenward, sighing. Slowly, her eyes opened. It was blurry at first. Those blue-green eyes, long lashes, straight nose, and desirable lips. His face. It was just an inch from hers.
