Chapter 30: Harvest Moon Dance

Selyna’s POV Whatever I did last night to help Damian’s memory, seemed to mess his memories up more. He said something about not losing me again, but he never lost me in the first place. I am just finishing my coffee, then off to address the Witches Council. I stand at the head of the council and address the witches that have gathered. “Things are going to be changing around here! “I state. “We are going to work together along with other supernaturals. I want to broker more treaties. I want an interspecies investigative team to be created, which I will discuss with the Supernatural Council. There are threats to all of our kind that none of us can face on their own, together we can defeat those threats and bring about a new era of peace and prosperity. On the evening of the Wolf Moon I will offici

Chapter 31: Mate Mishaps

Selyna POV I have no idea why Ashe just grabbed Damian and dragged him out of here. That was really weird even for my best friend. Ashe never does things like that. I can’t think about it too long because a hand comes to my back and a voice I don’t recognise speaks into my ear “Hey there little kitten! You smell like a witch, but there is a hint of wolf there as well. I am also a hybrid.” I turn to the voice and see a tall older gentleman. “May I have this dance until your young man returns. Oh! By the look of surprise on your face you didn’t think anyone had seen that kiss or the obvious chemistry between Damian and yourself. I was an alpha for 30 years before I gave the title over to my son, Dimitri.” My surprise at him first, noticing Damian and I kissing and second, at the revelation of who t

Chapter 32: Mending Hearts

Selyna’s POV I got Ashe home, teleporting us directly into Ashe’s bedroom. I guide them to their bed and help them slide their shoes and suit jacket off. “Do you want to talk, love?” Ashe shakes their head and I prepare for a long night of silently trying to soothe someone who won’t speak. I unbuckle the straps on my shoes and slide them off, curling into my best friend’s back as we lay on their bed together. “He’s too sweet,” they sob. “Too sweet and too kind, so accepting and I don’t think I can be everything he wants or needs.” “Oh, love!” I exclaim. “He sounds perfect for you! If the goddess paired you then it is meant to be and he will love and accept everything about you.” “What if he wants a fami

Chapter 33: Tensions Run High

Damian’s POV Something was off with Selyna, I knew it the moment she turned to me. There was sadness and hesitation in her eyes, the likes of which I had never seen before. “Damian, I love you, but …but I can’t do this, not now, not like this!” she cried before falling into my arms. “I want to feel you, to be with you, but I am not your mate…the pull to you, it feels like I am missing something, I am drawn to you, like always, but something just isn’t there” She sobs as she grips my shirt in her fists. I gently run my hand over her head, soothing her as I pull her trembling frame against my chest and kiss the top of her head. “I am not going anywhere. I am yours and yours alone,” I whisper and she faintly nods, but my queen seems broken, not her usual strong self. **************

Chapter 34: Tipping Point

Damian’s POV I know where I am, I have seen this cell before. I stand in the shadows. The heavily drugged male figure is slumped against the wall with chains around his wrists and legs. The red headed woman stands eyeing me before turning to Selyna, who is next to her talking. I can hear them. “Mother, I am not his mate, please stop asking about him. It hurts too much, he needs to move on, but no spells that I can find will undo my choosing him as king.” The tears fall from her eyes and I want to erase them, to erase her pain. “You can not undo what has been done, my dear girl. You are the first of your kind, you know we have no idea the rules of your bonds, he may not be your fated mate, but perhaps a true mate or soulmate” Marelene soothes her daughter.

Chapter 35: Melt Into You

Selyna’s POV All eyes are on or entwined hands and Damian releases mine only to wrap an arm protectively around my shoulders and I lean into him instinctively. I feel like everyone is drawing conclusions and some might be right, but I will not play games.I am done lying, but not going to openly admit the truth in this setting. The spoiled she wolf scoffs “Sure they are all cozy now!” “You don’t know what was going on between us” I say calmly. “No one did and now we are past it and moving forward.” I hold my head high and my jaw set as I walk forward taking a seat and Damian glides along with me as if we are a single unit. Alpha Sean raises a brow at me. “So you sorted out your issues?” he questions. I know there is more meaning to this but I will an

Chapter 36: Meet the Fam

Ashe’s POV “Babe, Are you ready to meet the fam?” I chirp looking at Adam in his chambray button-up. He is fastening the buttons and covering up that sexy chest of his. We heard Damian and Selyna come in, well, not actually. We didn't realize that they had gotten home until their moans and screams could be heard over our own post orgasmic heavy breathing. I am so glad that they have finally gotten back to their usual affectionate selves. Selyna was driving herself to the brink of insanity by pushing him away. I know she has gotten little to no sleep for the last couple months and she was starting to get delirious. “Is that what you are wearing, beautiful?” Adam whispers into my ear as he wraps around my waist and kisses my mate mark. He really does make me feel beautiful.

Chapter 37: Brought Into the Fold

Adam’s POV When I first saw Ashe I was drawn to them immediately, the 5ft 11 wolf shifter with the long legs and perfect ass had me so hard. When those brown eyes flecked with gold looked my way, plump lips parted and purple curls bouncing I just had to get closer, to feel the smooth caramel skin against mine and those long legs wrapped around my waist, but I never expected all of this. I am a straight man, I still am. I have never been attracted to men and at first my attraction to Ashe freaked me out a bit once I had sorted out that they indeed had a cock. I didn’t know the first night we met. It was at the interrogations…when they had me strip, or start to…that was the day I felt and saw the hardened length beneath their pants. At the Harvest Moon Dance I knew the moment that I spotted them that they were my mate and I had already run through things in my head, even talked to the Alpha seeki

Chapter 38: Giving Thanks

Selyna’s POV It feels weird to have been sitting in a room full of people telling them so much of what I hadn’t been. I am still not telling them that I have figured out who my parents are or that I have a wolf. Only a very small few know that. I hate secrets, but this one will only be until we are completely sure. When we have rescued my parents. I had midterms this week and I think I did decent on most of them. The composition paper that I dropped off yesterday afternoon was the last thing I had to turn in and I was officially on Thanksgiving break. I never really thought giving thanks on one day a year was right. Then again, I thank the goddesses daily for all that I have, all that I am going to get back and all that will come. I thank them every morning that I wake up next to Damian and every night when he holds me

Chapter 39: Confessions

Damian’s POV Moving Selyna’s things to the packhouse was easy, we brought what she wanted and needed most, but a lot of the furniture we had brought to a charity. The little bistro set she kept and set up on the balcony outside of our bedroom “for morning coffee” she said and it is perfect for that. Last night we slept in our bed, the california king bed with the pillow topper felt luxurious after having spent so much time squished into a full bed in her little apartment. Waking up with her naked body curled against mine and my scent covering her is the best part, though. She wraps her arms around me as I shift my body trying to get my hard member into a better position and her sleepy face comes to mine. A gentle kiss against my lips is all the warning I get before she is straddling me and sliding down onto my cock, he
