Osiris’ pov It’s been two weeks since we’re back at the Iron River pack. Like Emma suggested we asked my grandmother if she wanted to help us run the Midnight Blood pack in our absence. She accepted, but only if she could get the help from Neron and Jean. Dionne really seems to trust them, but I just hoped they would follow her lead. I wasn’t fully convinced I made the right decision so I promised I’d be back by the end of the month to check on them. Lily wanted to join, but her brother’s birthday was that week and she had planned to go back with Emma to surprise him. So for the first time since she was back we would be apart again. But luckily it wouldn’t be for another two weeks so I was planning to make the most our time here. Now that the Midnight Blood pack was part of our pack we were the largest pack in the country and that title came with it’s responsibilities. I had been working a lot, finding out which of the Midnight Blood’s allies we could trust.

Lily’s pov I loved the date Osiris took me on. I guess I really needed it, or we needed it. We haven’t even been together this long, but so much has happened that it sometimes feel like we’ve had a lifetime together. Is that why I was acting this way around Osiris? Lily’s pov When we arrived at the Moon Stone pack we were greeted by my parents. They were so happy to see the three of us and my mom commented on how much better I looked.
