Ms. CEO And Her Assistant のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 31 - チャプター 40

Caroline’s POVI have trust issues, a lot. I trust only a few people around me, yet most of the time don’t let my guard down. And because of that, no one has been able to hurt me, but somehow a certain man, who happens to be my assistant has been able to change that. After what he did for me a few weeks ago, we started spending a lot of time together. I didn’t feel lonely anymore and felt like I had a friend, who cared for me. Maybe not a friend, but that’s what I wanted to believe for my sake.Samael has been acting differently toward me, mostly it feels like he is ignoring me. Trying to not talk with me if it’s not about work and not to mention how he is refusing to meet my gaze and be professional. I have no idea what went wrong or if I did something.Suddenly, after a few days, he started behaving distant and when I tried to talk about the changed behavior, he just changed the topic or ignored it like he wanted me to drop the topic. So, I dropped everything, my hurt feelings, our

Samael’s POVThe past few days have been hard for me, mentally. Most of the time I am having debates in my head itself about my current actions towards Caroline. My decision to keep my distance from her and put my all focus on my sister, Ella has been taking a toll on my mind. I am having constant headaches and self-hate whenever I see Caroline’s confused and hurt expressions.Because I have been with Ella all the time except when I go to the office, I can guarantee her safety from the two people who unfortunately are our parents. However, I try to be always with her, it’s not going to be the same in the future. She is 10 years old now, but gradually she will grow up and will go out with friends and all. She needs to be safe then too, so I have come up with something that I still have to discuss with her. Now, while riding back to our house from the café where we meet Caroline coincidently, I decide to talk with her.“Ella, I wanted to talk with you about something,” I said while keep

Samael’s POVI was surprised when Caroline said that, making me freeze but something made my heart flutter. I could sense Justin and Ella looking at me wide-eyed when they heard Caroline, as the phone was on speaker because Ella wanted to talk to Caroline. Ella took the phone from my hand while I was sitting there thinking about Caroline’s offer.“Yes! It’s me, Ella. I would love to go on a vacation with you … and also Samael.” Ella said with a huge grin on her face.“Oh, Ella. Hi, that’s good to know. I will inform you after planning everything.” Caroline said and I could sense relief in her voice.“Yes, that would be great. Wait, would you mind, if my friend tagged along with us?” Ella asked making me frown. Who does Ella want to go with us?“Um, … yeah, okay. No problem.” Caroline said a little unsure but Ella dint picks it.“Yay! Thank you, Caroline! Here talk with my brother.” Ella said holding the phone in my hand. Turning off the speaker, I stood up and turned around to talk wi

Samael’s POVI am stupid. She looked so pretty in her casual clothes, hair down, light eyes, and soft smile, as she gazed at the sky above that was turned in the shades of orange, red, purple, etc. Tough for some reason my eyes dint left her face, looking at her I somehow felt … content. While driving back to the rented house, the car was silent and I liked that it was a comfortable silence. While Caroline dozed off in her seat and I drove while taking a few glances at her. When we reached the house, it was dark I stopped the car and sighed. The lights in the house and street lights around were also turned on. I was able to hear the river water flowing and music playing in the house, which I confident was played by Justin. He loves music, a lot, and because of him, Ella has started to like music a lot.I turned to look at Caroline and a soft smile stretched on my lips. She looked so beautiful in the moonlight. I slowly and softly brushed strands of hair from her face trying to not wak

Samael’s POVOne thing that takes my mind off everything is cooking, which slowly became my hobby as it helps me relax in a way. Turning off the stove, I turned and kept the breakfast on the dining table with some bread, butter, fruits, and omelets.“Good morning!” Ella walked down the stairs with a huge smile on her face which instantly made me smile. I saw Caroline who was just behind Ella, she looked like she must have just showered because of her wet hair. Even though she was just wearing casual clothes, she looked beautiful.“Good morning though it’s almost afternoon now, you are just on time brunch is ready,” I said while filling plates for both.“Wow! Thanks, Sam, let’s eat.” Ella and Caroline sat beside each other with their plates and started eating. I deliberately took a seat in front of Caroline who still hasn’t made eye contact with me yet.“Look at you. Doesn’t even bother for me to join.” Justin snorted at Ella as he came and sat beside me, who has not showered.“I know
