Ms. CEO And Her Assistant のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 21 - チャプター 30

Caroline’s POVI gulped the glass of water and sighed while sitting on a chair. It was almost noon and I had planned to meet James after a few hours to discuss some important thing. When I heard the doorbell ring, I stood up keeping the now empty glass of water on the table, and went to open the door.“Hey, sis!” my nineteen-year-old cousin stood in front of me with a huge grin on his face as he looked at me with his hazel eyes and his brown hair looked like they had grown a little long.“Mason! How are you?” I asked as a smile appeared on my face.“I am good except for the fact that my cousin forgot about me.” He said with a sad pout.“Come inside.” I chuckled and walked inside with him following me after closing the door behind him.“Would you like something to drink?” I asked him as we both sat on the sofa.“No, I just wanted to meet you

Samael’s POVI parked the car outside Ella’s school and turned to look at her. She was looking at me with a bored expression. I smiled at her knowingly she was not in the mood to go to school today, and I was not allowing her to take a holiday.“Have a good day, Ella,” I said sweetly while she glared at me.“Hm, you too brother.” She said sarcastically with a fake smile which made me chuckle. She rolled her eyes at me before leaving the car and walking inside the building. I left as soon as she was out of my site and started driving toward the office.I was feeling a little wired because of yesterday’s incident. After talking with Justin, I concluded that I should not push Ella away just because I think it’s not safe. Shane cannot do anything to hurt Ella until I am by her side, I won’t let him.I parked the car when I reached the Martinez and took the elevator to Caroline’s office. I hope she had a look at the email I sent her yesterday as there were major changes in the schedule. Wh

Samael’s POVI walked towards the cafeteria and took two cups of coffee, like usual for me and Caroline. Keeping her coffee on the table in her office, I went into my office. I started replying to certain emails while drinking my morning coffee. After a while, I realized that Caroline has not called me yet in her office like she usually does to know her schedule. I checked her in the office, just to find out that hasn’t arrived yet. it was past ten in the morning and she is never this late to the office.I called her a few unanswered times and I got worried about her. Walking into my office, I decided to call someone and ask if they know anything about the situation.“Hello, Samael.” Ms. Lopez, our receptionist greeted me.“Hi, Lucy. I needed to ask you something.” I said nervously.“Yes, please go ahead,” she said as I sat on the chair while talking to her on the phone.“Do you know why Ms. Martinez has not come to the office yet?” I asked and a frown appeared on my face when she pau

Caroline’s POVHalting made me wake up from my nap. Slowly opening my eyes, I turned to look at Samael who was already looking at me. What wired was that even though I caught him looking at me while I was sleeping, he did not turn away or tried to hide it.“W-what?” I asked as I sat straight and stretched a little.“Did you sleep well?” he asked me to which I nodded my head.“Yeah, I feel much better. Where are we though-” I stopped talking when I looked outside the window. I was dumb folded and surprised to see where we were and that was outside the cemetery.“What? why?” I babbled looking at him surprised that he drove me to the cemetery and I was just flabbergasted, not knowing what to say I just stared at him until he answered me.“You said, you dint visit them for a long time so I thought maybe you would want to go and talk to them. Only if you want to, no pressure.” He said with a small smile trying to ease me, which helped.“I – I don’t know. It’s been a long time since I visit

Caroline’s POV“Hey, how are you doing?” Mason asked me as we all took seats.“I am fine, really fine. I visited mom and dad.” I said with a small smile thinking how content I felt after visiting mom and dad.“You did? Wow, that’s great. I was worried about you, I am thankful that you were not alone. Thank you, man.” Mason looked at Samael with a thankful gaze.“Don’t mention it.” Samael smiled at Mason as I looked at him.He somehow looks different without his glasses, in a good way. He took off the glasses while cooking and still was without them, giving me a clear view of his eyes without the barrier of the glasses. His eyes snapped at me making me advert my eyes, probably he felt my gaze on him.“Why do I smell something amazing? Caroline, did you cook?” Mason asked sniffing the air, taking both of our attention towards him. Which I was thankful for, it is already embarrassing when Samael catches me staring at him although it was not the first time, I think it’s not going to be th
