I didn’t want to stray too far from Damien, but I really needed to get away from Dina. I walked out of that hall and shut the door. I waited in the foyer for Damien when I heard Yara warn, “We should not be here alone. Someone is coming”.  Just then, Adam walks up behind me, puts a hand on my shoulder and I flip him over my shoulder. He lands on his back and chuckles, “Guess I had that coming”. Yara laughed, “Oh, it’s just him”. I chuckled, “You knew who was coming.” She laughed, “Of course. I just wanted to see you do that”. I cringed, “You should know better than to walk up behind me like that. I’m already wound tight after talking to that bitch. I’m ready for another fucking fight.” Adam stands up, “Why did you go out with him before we had a chance to talk?” I was suddenly furious with him, “Adam, I was blessed with a second chance mate. I’m not fucking that up. You were not willing to fight to keep me. Damien has more courage in his pinky, than you will ever have i

Abby POV I woke up this morning feeling amazing. Slightly embarrassed because I think I fell asleep on Damien. I mean like, literally, ON him. Oh well, he will probably want to get used to that. I have that habit of falling asleep when I get too comfortable. And he is very comfortable. My very own HUGE teddy bear. Yara purrs, "I can think of so many better things we could do on him." I roll my eyes, "Shut it, horn dog. I don't need any visuals. You got me in enough trouble last night." She shrugs, "What? I'm just trying to do what we naturally do. You're the one who is being weird." I explained again, "I'm being cautious. Neither of us would survive it if we got hurt again. You know that." She let out an exasperated sigh, "How many times do I have to tell you, he is not going

Adam POV Damn. Why can't she understand how much I want her? "What did you expect? I told you not to fuck all those whores," Max shouted, "Now she has her second chance mate and there is little to no chance of getting her back. All because you had to get it out of your system." I sighed, "I never thought she would find out." Max thumped me, "Well she didn't just find out. She heard it with her own ears. You are going to have to figure out something huge to get her back." I sighed, "I have no idea what that would be. She's already falling for Damien".  Just then, I received a mind link from my Bet

Damien POVI was not happy about letting my tiny mate go anywhere alone, but Cade told me she needed a few minutes. She had only been gone for ten minutes when we were all standing and ready to run. Apparently, Yara didn't tell the pup's wolf, because he stood up and asked what the problem was. Kayla and I took off toward the park. Cade told him that Abby had been taken. Cade mind linked Beau and Beau got his best trackers on her scent. When we got to the park, the trackers were able to pick up her scent immediately. We followed them in wolf form. When we got to the interstate, we stuck to the woods on the h

After Adam left my room, Damien came back in and asked, "Well, did it work better this time?" I smiled, "A lot better, actually. I put it in a way that I hadn't before. So, how long have I been out?" He replied, "You've only been out for a day. Leah said you had a lot of pretty bad injuries. One of your ribs punctured your lung, so she had to fix it. She also had to set your leg and arm. You also have a cracked skull". I cringed, "No wonder I have a killer headache. Leah must have had some pretty bad flashbacks seeing me like that". He coaxed, "Actually, she told me I need to get you and Kayla to my pack as soon as possible. She said you two aren't safe here anymore. What do you think?" I smiled, "I think that's probably the best thing I have ever heard. Did Leah tell you that the Moon Goddess was talking to me?" He answered, "Yeah. I just figured I would ask you about that on the drive down to my pack. I want to make it a getting to know you trip". I cringed, "What if you f
