CHAPTER 11: CYNTHIA'S WISH AND A PIECE OF THE ACTION
Captain Clinton walked under the morning sky through the streets of Washington DC. Anyone who looked at him would probably think he was on his way to work. He wished it was so. For many days now, he had been spending his night time in the office . He turned right and continued walking.   " Rick, are you there?" He asked.   " Yo. Right here." Rick replied through his ear device. " Just chilling with a bottle of—"  he was cut short.   " Please Rick, I do not have the strength for any long talks. How close am I?"   " You didn't even give me the chance to finish what I wanted to say. "   " You are so unbelievable, Rick. I asked you a question. And I demand

CHAPTER 12: THE BOX
Mike had ransacked the whole room in search of what he needed. He wondered why all of a sudden, why his mother had to change the location of this box. It used to be right there in her room under her bed. But it was not there. It was not equally in the wardrobe . Those were the normal places his mother could hide things. But this time around, everything had changed. Could it be that someone already barged into their home and made away with the box? No way. Out of frustration, he decided to walk out of the room and walk straight to his own room in the house. Maybe his mother was struggling to pass all the information he needed to be guided after her death. And possibly, the box was a part of the information she tried to pass. Just then, he remembered quickly. His mother had sometime in the past made a strange statement to him. " In due time , what you seek to know will be in your possession." H

CHAPTER 13: THE TRIPS
The director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations was already waiting for his team . He looked at his time and sighed.  He would have complained but he was not able to. The thought of the mission he was about to send them off to was on his mind. What if they did not make it back alive? But it was not such a big deal. Helen would go to platinum hotels and check out some issues in their security cameras. Agent Wills would go to Alabama. But what exactly was he going to meet in Alabama? No one had an idea. It could be dangerous. What if Helen is attacked? But by who? He remembered Helen was also going to track the so-called Mike. It could be really dangerous. " Hey! Boss!" Helen had arrived. He looked up and smiled. " Helen, you are here already. " " Yes, I am . " She s

CHAPTER 14: A PRIVATE CHAT.
Captain Clinton walked to and fro in the East wing of the white house. He had not waited for long but he already felt that Rick was taking all the time in the world to show up. He sighed and walked to the stairs . Then, he sat down. His body hurted him pretty well. " Captain Clinton!" Rick called out as he approached. " Hey . You might need to stop shouting that name. " " What is the matter? Are you hiding from someone?" "  I am supposed to be at the hospital receiving treatments from the doctors." " That is part of my reasons for being surprised. " Rick replied as he sat beside him. " Why are you here? "

CHAPTER 15: A PROTEST HAS BEGUN.
Chief Christopher Balor assembled everyone who had his post at the gate. The number was big. There was no way he would start to investigate every single person present. So, he thought of other ways of doing this. At first, all he wanted was to take on all of them . Taking out separate time for each of them . All it was going to take was time. And as for that time, they did not have it in abundance. So, other measures needed to be taken in order to arrive at a definite result within the shortest time frame . He made his decision. This was definitely going to work out well. " If you just resumed your duty in the rising of the sun, come this way." He used his left hand to direct them. " Stand by my left. " He looked around. He was making progress. The team before him got reduced a little as some people had already broken out. " If you have been here before the coughing bout of the president, com

CHAPTER 16: PLATINUM HOTELS
Steve sat down at his table eagerly waiting for Mike to arrive. His take had not yet been served. The chair opposite him was empty. Mike was going to fill up the vacancy when he arrived. But he was already taking too much time to arrive. What was keeping him? The television that hung on an adjacent wall was on but Steve obviously did not have any interest in whatever program was going on there. The television had played an Asian epic romance movie to help people tide over the situation in the country. But that would only work if all the people seated there had their attention fixed on the television. The strategy was obviously not working out well as no one was wearing a happy face. Platinum hotels was definitely going to make  big sales on that day. A lot of people wanted to be at the site of the explosion but were not granted the privilege by the security men and women at work. So, many started devising a new strategy. Since platinum hotels was

CHAPTER 17: HELEN AT PLATINUM HOTELS.
Helen stood with the manager of platinum hotels in a hallway. He looked like he was in his twenties but a careful study of him would make even a child know he must be in his forties. His thick mustache was enough proof. But considering his size, no one would ever expect him to be as commanding as he was at the moment to Helen. " I am sorry, young lady. But you may have to leave this place on your own or I will be forced to order the security to throw you out. " " It is just a simple request. Let me take a look at the cameras . Take me to your security control room." " I have tried to be cool with you because this is our hotel and our job here is to serve people. But it is obvious you have ulterior motives for coming here. Who on Earth walks into a hotel and seeks access to a

CHAPTER 18: A BUTLER IS ARRESTED.
Chief Joe paced with his head full of thoughts. For the past few minutes, he had not done anything that would point directly at any individual who would likely be involved in the chain of events that ensued the previous night. When he had assembled all the kitchen related staff, he specifically ordered those that were on duty during the hours of the previous night to remain while the others left. Now, they were all standing before him with their faces bent down. Could it be the guilt of their actions or they were just afraid? If it was guilt, there was possibly no way all of them would be involved in the incident. So , why were their faces all looking worked up? Probably, there was something they knew that he was yet to know. But what could that be? He was still in his thoughts when Chief Chris started approaching. " Hey." Chief Chris spoke. " How is it going over here?"

CHAPTER 19: AGENT HELEN'S NEW PARTNER.
Agent Helen had her eyes traveling from one computer to the other. She needed answers to her questions. It was not really her question  but that of the nation. The manager just stood beside her. " This is what is going on currently within the perimeter that the explosion affected. " The manager said to her. " I see. " She nodded. " But this is not what I need right now." " You said you wish to see the Center City. Isn't it?" The manager asked. " Yes. But what I need right now is the clip from yesterday." " Yesterday's clip?" " You heard me well. The clip that can show me the entire area before

CHAPTER 20: THE PROTEST CONTINUES.
Media vans we're all over the place in front of the gate of the white house of the United States of America. The crowd that had come to protest had not gone. Rather, it was the opposite . Though they were not able to meet the demands of the chief of the United States Secret Service, they still refused to return to their homes as was said by chief Christopher Balor. Instead of returning home, their numbers just increased tremendously. More citizens were already joining the crowd. The media took over the opportunity to give every one of them the stage to speak their thoughts over the current situation of the country. It was obvious that their major displeasure stemmed from the fact that no one was willing to say anything meaningful about the situation. Their questions were not answered. The president had not shown himself since the events of the previous night. The vice president was also nowhere to be found. It was frustrating and getting the citizens
