2022-03-07 21:22:28Captain Clinton walked to and fro in the East wing of the white house. He had not waited for long but he already felt that Rick was taking all the time in the world to show up. He sighed and walked to the stairs . Then, he sat down. His body hurted him pretty well.
" Captain Clinton!" Rick called out as he approached.
" Hey . You might need to stop shouting that name. "
" What is the matter? Are you hiding from someone?"
" I am supposed to be at the hospital receiving treatments from the doctors."
" That is part of my reasons for being surprised. " Rick replied as he sat beside him. " Why are you here? "

Mike sat next to Helen on the plane. Steve was in the same row but the next column. Helen had gone asleep and now leaned her head on the glass window of the plane." I am a little bit anxious, you know. " Mike said to Steve." Anxious?" Steve asked." Yes. I am just anxious. "" Why so?"" Do you not think it is normal to be anxious? I mean, considering the journey that we have embarked on, do you not think it is right that I feel anxious at some point? "" You have no reason to be anxious, Mike. "" Come to think of it, Steve. Could it be that my father has a connection to all of this?"

Captain Clinton stood several meters away and stared at the big black gate of a fenced compound. The directions he had received from Rick had led him directly to this point. Though, he had not seen the ambulance as proof . But he knew somewhere beyond the black gate and the fence, the ambulance would be parked . Four men stood before the gate. As one in the field, he could tell some of the loitering men in the area were keeping guard of the premises. Getting in would be very difficult. He was not even sure of what he was really going in there to see. All he had at the back of his mind was to get in." Rick. " He spoke through his communicating device. " Rick, can you hear me?"" Rick was becoming a little bit anxious over the whole thing. His breathing was becoming more intense. Whether it was because he was afraid of walking to a place he had not been before to see someone in secret or that the weight of the whole investigation was already pressing down on him , he could not really say. Never for once in his entire life has he been involved directly in an investigation. But this time, there was no other option other than to do it. If they were right all along, letting Chief Christopher Balor know anything about the current move would only be very detrimental and might end up being a waste of Captain Clinton's efforts." Hmm. Helen stood alone with her phone. It was obvious that Ugoeze had been trying to reach her . But it was not working out. It was now clear to her that she was not going to return anytime soon like they had presumed before she left. For some reason, she still could not explain why she was doing what she was doing. The reason for heading to Paris was what she had not yet known. And trying to find out in the wrong way might end up jeopardizing her move. There was a lot of work that needed to be done. Ugoeze had gone out of her unit of operation at platinum hotels. Two things were on her mind. Her colleague who was a friend and the traitor named Paul Cole. She looked at her phone again as she walked towards the site of the explosion. There was feedback yet. What could be taking her so long to get back to her? She sighed." The entire space was sealed from civilian passage. She stopped and observed the whole area. There were agents from different security operating units on patrol. A plan was needed . Agent Wills yawned hungrily as he continued his walk . Alabama was without any doubt a very nice place to be .
