~Alric~ In the past few days, Alric tried to hold his urges, but really, how long can he withstand? He was a wolf, an Alpha one at that. It wasn’t in his kind to hold back when he desired a woman, and he genuinely desired Alana. He craved her so much, his rod always mounted in salute whenever she was around him. How could anyone blame him for trying? Especially since he would be away for a week? He knew he and his wolf would yearn for her dearly. He just had… to give it a try. He walked out, purposely lowering the towel to his hip, his body still glinting from the water that washed over the features of his striking frame.  When he saw how Alana was in a panic, he was pleased. His plan was working, and he wasn’t going to end the night getting nothing.  Alric slammed his hands against the headboard of the bed, trapping Alana in between his powerful arms.  He could hear her protesting, but that did not stop him. When he sug

~Alana~ “Alana, are you sure you are alright?” Max inquired. His fingers scraped through his black hair before he offered, “Maybe I should tell Alric about this - “ “No!” Alana was sharp to counter, saying, “Don’t. be so silly. It’s.” She gulped down her own spew and resumed, “It’s nothing that a doctor can’t handle. It was probably just an insect bite, or maybe the fact that Kai was running around so much last night, his muscles were probably sore and I -" She paused, thinking about what to say, but eventually, she found a suitable answer. "This is still the aftermath of my accident a few years back - yeah. I get this sometimes, but it's not really serious. Trust me." A frown became apparent on Max's face before he offered, “Can I take a look - “ “No!” Alana’s hand raised, stopping Max from his attempt. “Kai and I are exhausted, Max. Do you mind if we take a rest for the day? Kai and I would really like to have a good bath.” “Trust me

~Alric~ “She is not answering her phone. It goes straight to voicemail and Max?” Alric snarled. His white and pointed fangs became conspicuous as he threw the mobile to the floor. “I cannot mind-link with him!” “Relax, Alric,” Dean suggested. His palms were up, hoping to soothe his Alpha.  “Where the hell is Max?” He growled. His eyes had never looked menacing in front of his Beta.  “I’m sure they are fine. I’ll contact the governor to find out about them,” Dean suggested. He was already on the phone, dialing the governor's office of Bay City. “Besides, didn’t you speak to her yesterday morning? So she only missed your call today? Maybe she is busy? Who knows? It’s too early to panic.” Alric growled again, his voice thundering within the CEO office of the Valmore Group Of Companies. “I want to go to Bay City now!” “You will do no such thing!” A female voice, equally impressive, walked in, pushing the door open with force. Her

~Alric~ For the past fifteen minutes, his uncle Greyson had been yapping about how having a Luna would keep other packs from claiming territories belonging to the Valmore Blood Pack. He kept persuading everyone how other packs would see it as a weakness of their Alpha, if he had no Luna and heir.  Alric could care less about what his uncle was suggesting. His thoughts were drifting to Alana and Kai. In the evening, they would hear news from the governor if his men were able to patrol in Alana’s home.  Nonetheless, he already had his Gammas, Ace and Rex, leave for Bay City. Eventually, he would have news soon.  The clock was ticking, and it was already late in the afternoon. Alana still had not returned his calls, nor had Max connected with him. It just did not feel right to Alric, especially since Max was a very diligent Gamma. Plus, he knew what ticked Alric the most.  Eventually, the words of his uncle Greyson provoked hi

~Alric~ “V - valencia?” His uncle stumbled in his words as he clarified, “And how - how is Valencia supposed to prove anything?” Alric’s gaze fell on Valencia, the oldest member of their pack, a hybrid; half-wolf and half-witch. Among the council of elders, she was considered to be the wisest. They called her their healer, primarily because she was an expert at making healing potions, but Alric knew, there was so much more to her than just making elixirs.  Seeing how Valencia nodded her head, Alric explained to the audience, “Valencia has been practicing... how to enter one’s memories.” “We meant to keep it from everyone until Valencia had learned to master this skill, but since we are already here, in need to prove Alana’s innocence, then she might as well… help us with our predicament,” Alric revealed.  Everyone became awed by their Alpha’s revelation, especially learning that their healer picked up such a useful power.
