Chapter 31
Our new rolesI held Salenis close to my body. I was content with my new elf mate, even though he was half Dökkálfar, I was pleased with him entirely."Luric is going to be super pissed," he mumbled I looked up at him presenting me with a stunning ring. I raised my hand for him to slide the ring onto my finger. I asked him his ring size and created a matching ring for him with my magic using the molecules of the ring he had given me."I truly don't care what Luric is. I love you not him," I replied, making Salenis grin happily."Once we leave this island our crowns will appear upon our heads," he added and I twirled my finger saying,"whoopee." I wasn't thrilled about being royalty. "I'm not even allowed within the forest of souls how am I supposed to govern over the elves of Alfheim," I questioned outright and Salenis chuckled telling me I worry too much over trivial matters."You carry elf blood, it matters not if it's Dökkálfar or Ljósálfar," he said sincere

Chapter 32Palace of Alfheim Salenis, Ravin and I appeared in the center of the great room bathed in bright shimmering colors. I narrowed my eyes as they adjusted to the intensity of the elves color palette. I saw Alya's white head heading towards us. Her blonde brow was creased and her silver eyes full of confusion."Brother, why are you here with our queen? Luric has announced that he is the rightful king but I see the crown is upon your head," she said quickly. Salenis explained the entire ordeal of what occurred with Lutic and Alya grew more concerned the further the story went."He's making his claim official by telling everyone that he is the true king. He's such a stubborn man," she growled angrily and I chuckled softly at her. Alya shook her head at me and frowned."This is a very serious problem my queen. Your king could be killed and replaced by Luric and no one would dispute it," she said sternly, causing me to swallow uncomfortably and look worriedly at Salenis as he held

King Luric I took Ravin into my arms and Salenis smiled down at me."A word of advice, Luric is an intellectual and admires quick wit and charm. You're both of those things and more, Skye. Plus Ravin is going to knock his socks off with his intelligence," Salenis said sincerely to me as he brushed my boys cheek. My throat was burning as I fought the tears that were threatening to spill. "Love you, Skye, I'll send you a message through the meaning of the tree I turn into," he growled softly and I nodded, unable to speak. He kissed me one last time on my forehead before he disappeared from my sight, set on doing his last task. Ravin and I appeared within the palace of Alfheim. I burst into horrendous sobs and went to my knees in my anguish. My boy was confused and hugged my neck telling me that everything was okay. I hugged him tightly and told him yeah. I sat on my butt on the floor with Ravin in my arms when Luric walked in and looked perplexed at the small child. He

Working for the real Alfheim crownAfter Luric's odd announcement of a gathering I felt uncomfortable. I didn't want to have to explain over and over about Salenis's departure. It was hard enough missing him. I looked across the table at the elf man. An odd thought filled my mind. I wished he'd cut his hair; it would make him appear less cruel and brutish. I jumped slightly when he asked me what I was thinking about."I just was wondering what you would look like with short hair," I mumbled. Luric scoffed saying it's taken him years for his hair to grow as long as it was and he had no plans of ever cutting it. I looked away from him and exhaled. I excused myself and asked Ravin if he wanted to take a walk with me outside. The child nodded excitedly and I lifted him from his chair. Holding his hand I headed towards the door and could feel Luric's eyes on me. I turned around and grinned."Would you like to join us?" I asked him and was surprised when he replied yes."D

The Ljósálfar elf Luric I woke to the sun's rays shining on my eyelids and opened my eyes slowly to adjust to the light. I lifted my head slightly and felt long strands of hair fall off my face. It tickled and I laughed slightly. I could see Luric still sleeping next to me, his long hair a big mess. I was sure that he'd have a massive bed head when he woke and bit my lip from laughing out loud. My door opened and Ravin started running towards my bed seeing that I was awake. He jumped up when he reached the edge and saw Luric. Seeing it was too late to stop what was going to happen he just opened up his little arms and dived into him. I narrowed my eyes hearing the guttural groan Luric had made when Ravin connected. "What is this? An early morning attack," he grunted and started tickling the unsuspecting Ravin. I chuckled softly at seeing my son laugh so thoroughly. Luric figured out my weakness which was my son and he was pulling all my heartstrings by making the boy lau

New Alfheim king & queen I looked down at Luric's bare chest and my eyes widened at the intricate scrollwork tattoo that covered his left side. I traced the design with my index finger and felt him lift his lower half."That's my royal mark. I will give you one once I'm within you and our souls join," he said softly and I nodded and moved myself over his shaft."You're so big Luric, it's going to be painful for me," I said firmly and he smirked and shook his head. "I'll go slowly," he grunted and in one swift move had me underneath of himself. I looked up at his eyes as his long hair curtained our faces. I spread my thighs as far as I could as he probed for my wet entrance. Once he found my slick he started to press himself Inside. My mouth fell open at my body stretching for his size. "You're so tiny, Skye," he moaned and pressed on. Luric smiled and kissed me passionately as he inched his way deeper inside. I was already starting to shake as I climaxed from just him trying to get

Getting both boys out of the voidMy mother destroyed the void now it's seeking revenge by keeping those who are descendents of hers permanently. What a crock of shit. I glared at Sebastian, still angry that he took my child to the void."How did Atlas get to the void? No one has told me," I growled bitterly, my eyes raking across all the individuals who were in the room."Ryder was upset with his brother beating him and sent him there in jest," Sebastian answered and I rolled my eyes wondering how he'd even known about the void. I asked and both him and Rai replied, Arram. I saw the boy in discussion peeking out of his room and flicked a ball of energy at him. He yelled out he didn't mean to hurt Atlas. I pulled out my cell and called my father. When I explained what I needed he sighed telling me he couldn't return to the void or he'd become a permanent resident. I told him I'd find another way and sat on Hoka's couch with a frown on my face. "Anyone related to my mother will be trap

Our strange relationships I sat up and looked over at my two sullied children who were currently splashing water onto each other and wading in the ocean as if nothing had happened."You succeeded," I heard Sebastian yell and Luric tilted his head."Since both boys are saved, why don't you and I finish what you started in the field. I don't take kindly to getting sucker punched," Luric said bitterly and glared at Sebastian."I don't like towheads, especially ones who are haughty and arrogant," Sebastian replied. I had to stand up between them both and raise my hands."What is your issue Sebastian? Luric is my husband so knock your shit off!" I yelled out at him and saw Rai approaching him to cool him off. Luric held me at my shoulders and suggested that we head back to Alfheim with Ravi. I nodded and called over to my son as I leaned back against Luric. Ravin ran over and told us he was going to Arram's before we vanished completely. Luric and I reappeared within the palace and were gr

Bad witches and annoying husbandsI spilled everything that had occurred at the Alfheim palace and Viktor listened attentively. My grandfather couldn't recall much about the vengeful witch. It was frustrating but there was nothing I could do about it. He asked about my new husband and I growled bitterly as I slumped into his couch. Thankfully I'd healed my broken toe pretty easily."If that's any indication, I'd say he's a definite keeper," Viktor said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes and petted the big fluffy cat that jumped onto my lap."Is this creature my uncle Javidan's pet," I asked curiously and my grandfather nodded saying that the cat's name was Monty as the feline purred."So dear, did you come for answers or to escape from your mate?" I looked aghast at him and shrugged as I sighed."I'm truly curious about Ethel and I'm very irritated with my overbearing husband. He thinks it's imperative to marry them both since the controlled version of Liam knocked up the princess," I mu

Deception from the one you think you love After Luric's nod of his head I asked him what he did with Alya's corpse. He looked at me shocked."It's been put into the women's royal crypt," he said briskly and I eyed him oddly. Something wasn't right. I pushed out my energies and searched for Alya and found two female individuals inside a lower level room I wasn't aware even existed, i felt the energies of the elf guards making rounds and then I felt a female presence very near. The woman felt as if she were jealous. I used my magic to brush against Luric's aura and he turned quickly, eyeing me suspiciously. I rubbed my bruised neck and he turned away looking guilty. Luric was both physically and magically more powerful than I so I needed a plan that didn't incorporate the use of either of those two things. I reached out again to the woman. Was she a scorned lover? Surely Luric had female elf acquaintances, I thought and wondered if this was one. She was standing within the opposite room
