Working for the real Alfheim crown

After Luric's odd announcement of a gathering I felt uncomfortable. I didn't want to have to explain over and over about Salenis's departure. It was hard enough missing him. I looked across the table at the elf man. An odd thought filled my mind. I wished he'd cut his hair; it would make him appear less cruel and brutish. I jumped slightly when he asked me what I was thinking about.

"I just was wondering what you would look like with short hair," I mumbled. Luric scoffed saying it's taken him years for his hair to grow as long as it was and he had no plans of ever cutting it. I looked away from him and exhaled. I excused myself and asked Ravin if he wanted to take a walk with me outside. The child nodded excitedly and I lifted him from his chair. Holding his hand I headed towards the door and could feel Luric's eyes on me. I turned around and grinned.

"Would you like to join us?" I asked him and was surprised when he replied yes.
