Deception from the one you think you love

After Luric's nod of his head I asked him what he did with Alya's corpse. He looked at me shocked.

"It's been put into the women's royal crypt," he said briskly and I eyed him oddly. Something wasn't right. I pushed out my energies and searched for Alya and found two female individuals inside a lower level room I wasn't aware even existed, i felt the energies of the elf guards making rounds and then I felt a female presence very near. The woman felt as if she were jealous. I used my magic to brush against Luric's aura and he turned quickly, eyeing me suspiciously. I rubbed my bruised neck and he turned away looking guilty. Luric was both physically and magically more powerful than I so I needed a plan that didn't incorporate the use of either of those two things. I reached out again to the woman. Was she a scorned lover? Surely Luric had female elf acquaintances, I thought and wondered if this was one. She was standing within the opposite room
