Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Pure: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Diego’s POV Another month had gone by. Storm was absolutely miserable. The triplets only had about a month left to go but doctor Greg said it could be any day now really. They had grown rather rapidly he thinks it was their pure blood that ran through their bodies. We were currently getting ready for the baby shower her parents wanted to throw. I was nervous about taking her that far away with our circumstances. “Are you ready my love?” I asked her. “Yes.” She sighed waddling out of the closet in a body con light blue dress. Her bump was so huge she held her belly with both hands as she walked. Slowly we made our way out to the car. I grabbed our baby bag. “Why are you taking that?” She asked. “Storm I just wanna be prepared we don’t know what’s going to happen.” She looked down and nodded. “I know I’m sorry I couldn’t say no they’re just so excited.” “I understand love.” I helped her into the car and buckled her up. We had to get an extension for the her seat belts because th

Diego’s POVI woke the next day to Jared storming into my office. “Alpha I’ve been trying to reach you! There’s been a border breach! They got through our defenses and they’re headed here if they haven’t gotten here yet.”I shot up and ran down the hall. The boys weren’t in their rooms. I ran to the back to our room. Storm was still asleep but I she stirred jolting up feeling my fear through the bond. I didn’t even have to say anything so looked at me and howled. “Where are my boys!? Diego where are my boys!?”“Jared send every warrior we have to the border. No one is leaving this territory. Contact the surrounding territories alert them of the situation give them the boys description. Storm my love I promise I will do everything in my power to bring our boys home.”I held her tight as she weeped into me. I gently patted her head and kissed her cheeks wiping her tears. “Jared let’s move.” I hated to leave her but there was no time to waste. We ran outside I mind linked the whole p

Storms POVWe had gathered everyone in the mess hall of the pack house. They’re chatter was excruciating as it pounded in my head. I closed my eyes and touched my temples. I felt Jared move beside me before I finally called out with my Luna voice. “All of you hush!” The room quickly fell silent you could hear a pen drop. I opened my eyes and took a deep breath. “Listen I know there’s a lot of confusion going on let me explain…”Then I went on about the mysterious outsiders that had wanted Diego and I’s powers for a reason unknown. The false deal that was struck, Diego’s sacrifice. They stood in shock looking at me heads bowed joining our mourning.“What will happen now?” One of the older members asked. “Jared will resume the position of Alpha by my side until the triplets are old enough to run the pack. It is the will of the goddess…she has bound us together.” I bit my lip trying not to cry. The loss of my mate all too new to think about a new mate bond with someone else. “And wh

Jared’s POVI had put out SOS invites to all the nearby packs hoping they would respond with urgency. I asked them to meet in two days time we would be set up in the clearing. I kept raking my hands through my hair slamming my hands on the table. I could feel the hurt and anguish pouring in from Storm. She wasn’t trying to hide it. A part of me was grateful. We had a strong bond but she was always holding a part of herself back. One I would never blame her for though. I was thinking of her and the boys. I just wanted them to be safe. So many plans and arrangements would have to be made. If they found out we had left our pack unprotected would they come back for the boys? I certainly needed help guarding everything I loved here and what was right in front of me. I couldn’t let anything happen to Storm, I would stay by her side. She was going to have to do the hardest thing ever, I most certainly don’t think I would have been able to do it. Hours went by I just sat in the office sorting

Storms POV The day was lovely. Not too hot and not too cold. I could feel the air rushing through my hair giving me new life. The boys giggled in their stroller at the birds, bees, butterflies that they saw. Just as soon as I felt at peace I heard footsteps coming quickly. My whole body tensed ready to attack but then I felt Jared’s presence. “What are you doing out here?” I wondered surprised. “I wanted to spend time with my family. With everything going on I’ve neglected it for far too long.” He then wrapped me up in his arms and buried his nose in my hair as he took a deep breath in. I felt not just mine but his tension as well leave our bodies. He let me out of his embrace and held my hand and together we pushed the stroller through the trails talking about when we were growing up, old friends, all the things we should have done so long ago but we got caught up in a whirlwind of chaos. As we ended our walk and made it back to the pack house I rested my head on Jared’s bicep.
