Leaving Myra to rest in the bedroom, Abram walked out and slumped on the couch in the living room. He couldn’t sleep a wink last night while checking on Myra. He too, was emotionally drained, but out of the two, he had to hold the fort till he could talk to his wife. Breakfast on the table was kept touched while he lost his appetite, thinking about Myra’s state of mind. To distract himself, he grabbed his laptop to work on the pending task that needed his attention. Time went by, and he sat in the living room the entire day, doing his office work. Skipping his breakfast, he took refuge in the coffee to keep him focused. Myra, who till now was smirking at her enraging colleague, froze with his words.
