Revelation

The moment Ronan said, his grip on the phone tightened in anticipation. Every bit of him was screaming inwardly that whatever he was assuming was not true. 

“George and your mother are sitting in a coffee shop.”

Something breaks inside Abram, although a part of him already saw it coming. But when reality hits, no amount of mental preparation can lessen the pain. 

“Can you record and share the video with me?” he asked calmly, getting a grip on his emotions.

“Let me see if I could go near them enough to capture their voices.”

Hearing no response from him, Ronan asserted, “we need to capture George alive, Abram; otherwise, many more will fall victim to his misdeed.”
