Chapter 11: Luca
I could sense her powers before she walked into my classroom, she was as strong as a God, but her divine gifts were different than any I had ever encountered before. Who was she, what was she, and why did I feel the sudden need to possess her? I have never felt that need before. While I have bedded many women before, I’ve never felt connected to one. This connection I felt towards her was strange. It wasn’t one based on love and companionship like a mate bond. It was more animalistic; I felt the need to own and control her. Could she have activated the powers I’d always known were buried deep down thanks to my bloodline; the management of Loki, the God of Mischief, and Erie, the Goddess of Chaos. Did I want to possess her so I could use her powers to create chaos in the world?I hated that my divine gifts came from Loki and Iris; people flinched in my presence anywhere I went, expecting destruction to follow me. Most people didn’t know that my bloodline wasn’t that strong.

Chapter 12: Beckett
I didn't trust Luka for one minute. He was a chaos-type God, and I didn't trust his intention with my mate. And no, it had nothing to do with the fact that I wanted to spend this class getting to know Katrina better. I felt like her relationship was progressing quicker with the others than with me. Miles had an advantage over the rest of us. He met Katrina at our club and rescued her. Then there was Aphelion, the natural-born charmer, the pretty boy; every girl fell for him, so it wasn't surprising when Katrina grew closer with him this morning. And Samael had the dark, brooding thing that all women seemed to love; I'm sure he managed to make up with Katrina this morning in class. Then there was me, the shy, quiet guy. Whenever Katrina was near, I seemed to get tongue-tied and couldn't think of what to say. "Uhh, Beckett," Adriana called, disturbing my thoughts, "Could you help me? I can't seem to master shielding. Every time I try to block Ajax, his power seeps through."

Chapter 13: Katrina
Beckett, Luka, and I are sitting in the living room waiting for the others to arrive. The silence is deafening. "Sooo…" I speak up, freezing, when both of their heads turn towards me, "Are we going to discuss the elephant in the room, or are we just going to pretend that nothing happened?""Nothing did happen, Katrina." Luka responds, "Power bonding is a normal occurrence; your mate just blew it out of proportion."I turn my head to focus solely on Beckett, waiting for his response. His cheeks are tinged pink, indicating that he's embarrassed about his behavior. "You're the only woman I've allowed into my life; I've never had such strong feelings for another…." Beckett starts, but then our conversation is interrupted by the slamming of our lobby door. "Beck, Dude, What's going on?" Aphelion calls as he walks into the room."Why's Luka here?" Miles asks as he walks into the room behind Aphelion.Samael is the last to e

Chapter 14: Aphelion
: "That's not what's important right now, Miles. What's important is the fact that I am a fucking monster." Katrina cried out, tears spilling from her face as she ran towards her room. I felt a lump in my throat as my heart pained for my mate. I caused this hurt. Hilda was only messing with her because of me; if I had never agreed to marry her after graduation, Katrina wouldn't be in this situation right now. I just wanted my father off of my back. From the time I was ten and just beginning to learn the ropes of the kingdom, my father had started bugging me to marry Thor's daughter, telling me it was for the good of the domain. Finally, I was sick and tired of hearing it by thirteen, so I agreed to the betrothal. When I finally met Hilda at fifteen, I wasn't entirely against the betrothal. She was an early developer and had thick full breasts that I couldn't wait to get my hands on. We had sex the first day we met, and we continued to have sex off and on until just recentl

Chapter 15: KATRINA
I sat up in the bed as Aphelion crawled towards me. I was already wet with anticipation. After everything that happened today, I was ready to lose myself in his arms and make him mine. The moment he hovered above me, I reached up and began unbuttoning his shirt, my fingers shaking with excitement. I wanted to see all of him; I wanted to admire the beauty that he hid beneath his clothes. With each button that came undone, my heart pounded wildly in my chest. Finally reaching the last button, I shoved his shirt over his shoulders and began to admire Aphelion. He was perfection, from his blazing red hair to his piercing green eyes and his beautiful bronzed skin coating every inch of his toned body. His build was smaller than Miles's, but I could tell weight lifting was one of his passions. I ran my hands down his broad shoulders, squeezing his firm biceps. "Like what you see, Princess?" Aphelion asked, a cocky smirk on his face,"Just shut up and kiss me," I replied as I lifte

CHAPTER 16: Beckett
Last night was torturous. I was ready to tear into Luka for even insinuating that I had a problem with my mate having demon blood. Miles and Samael were barely holding us back from attacking each other, and then we heard the sweet sounds of Katrina in the throes of passion. We all froze when we listened to the noises coming from her room. While Luka and I were having a pissing contest, Aphelion had snuck off to comfort Katrina, and comfort her he did. All night long. That lucky fucking bastard. Once the moans started, it didn’t take long for us to go our separate ways. Samael, Miles, and I ran to our rooms, and Luka ran out of our quarters like the floor was on fire. I wonder if Miles and Samael’s cocks were as sore as mine this morning. Every time Katrina and Aphelion started up again, I ended up with a painful erection, my cock already oozing with precum before taking it in my hands. Just thinking of her sweet moans has me hardening again. I switch the hot water off in the sh

chapter 17: Katrina
Beckett was right. The moment I felt the sea air hit my face, I felt a sense of peace that I hadn't felt since learning that I had killed Grace and Jack. Watching Beckett teach his class and how he moved from one form to the next was like watching the waves crash into each other, absolutely mesmerizing. I was a little worried about coming out with Beckett this morning. I knew he saw all demons as monsters, and I wasn't sure what it would do to our relationship, but it doesn't seem to bother him, and if it does, he hasn't commented on it yet. I know we will have to talk about his views on demons, but right now, I want to enjoy the calming sounds of the waves crashing into each other. "I told you, you would enjoy it," Beckett remarks as he comes up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. I let my head fall back against his shoulder as I stare at the water on the bottom of the cliff. "I didn't picture you as an I told you so kind of guy." "There's a lot you do

Chapter 18: Katrina
The week flies by in a blur. Miles is still ignoring me, so I haven't invited him back into my bed, and Aphelion left Wednesday to go and speak with his father. Zeus wasn't happy to learn from Hermes that Aphelion had called off his engagement to Hilda without consulting him first. From what Beckett had told me, there was no tension between Thor and Zeus and talks of an uprising. Speaking of Beckett, he and I have encountered a hiccup in our relationship. He still despises Luka passionately, and I want nothing more than to spend time with him, even if he is my professor. Beckett claims it's the bond we've formed that is causing me to want to be near Luka. But I have a feeling it's more. Before our magic bonded, I felt an unexplainable connection to my professor. I want to get to know him on a more personal level. Beckett has outright forbade it. Hence the standstill in our relationship. It angers me that Beckett feels like he can control me, but I won't go against him. If there

Chapter 19: Katrina
I AM SHOCKED when I open my eyes; you know how the books describe the underworld as dark, devoid of all life, and ransacked by restless souls? Yeah, that’s an outright lie. Instead, the underworld reminds me of Venice. From what I can see, four great rivers run through the underworld, and they’re joined together by a fountain that seems to be located right in the middle of the kingdom. Further off in the distance, I can see a castle made entirely out of white stone, although there are green vines with purple flowers that run up the palace walls. Beside each river, there are signs indicating the towns; Acheron, Cocytus, Phlegethon, and Lethe. Each city was designed differently than the rest. “Will we have time to visit the towns?” I ask Samael after admiring what I could see of the underground.“If you wish to look around, I’ll take the time to do so.” Samael replies, “But first, let’s go to the castle. Once we get settled in our rooms, we can head to the archives; the

Chapter 20: Katrina
Once again, I was in awe of the underworld. The archives were set up like a vast library, similar to the one Belle was obsessed with in Beauty and the Beast. The shelves started six inches off the ground and went until they reached the vaulted ceiling. Each bookcase had ten frames, and the bookcases were lined up side by side from one long wall to the next. Each shelf was lined with leather-bound books; glancing at them; I could tell they were arranged by title and publication date. The titles of the books were written in a language I couldn't decipher. Still, Samael seemed to know what he was doing as he walked to the far right corner of the library, grabbed one book, and then went to the opposite corner on the left side, holding another. "Are you coming?" He asked, looking back at me as he began to descend a spiral staircase that I hadn't noticed before. "Not yet, but I will be soon," I muttered under my breath before I plastered a smile, following Samael down the stairc
