AVAIt's not everyday you see Hunter Ysrael smile. Well, except for the usual cocky grins and smirks playing on his lips every fucking time he receives a compliment. But recently... He was different.I don't understand what has gotten into him... especially when he flashed me that smile after I had come out of the shower. And I know when smiles are fake or not. His? His smile rendered me soaking wet, which I never asked for. Was this really the right choice? To protect me, I have to live with this sexy hunk over here who turns out to be my mate... but all along I had known him for what he is... For years, to me he was nothing more than... Oh, you know what I mean. But the next thing I know, I live in the same house he lives. He cooks me breakfast and dinner every day, and I lie next to him in bed during the night. He never tried anything out of boundaries, and I admire that from him. After all, who knew the biggest fvckboy in school had a sense of self-control in him?But then i

AVA's POV:I was just about to crawl into bed when the booming sound of thunder made me jump out of my skin.My whole body shook with fear as I jumped from the bed, whipping my head here and there frantically in search of for a place to give me sanctuary. My breathing becomes harsher as each crack of thunder splits the air with a vengeance, echoing through the room and making my stomach drop and my gut twist painfully. I have no idea why I'm in so much pain, but there's no time to think about that now.Unable to calm my racing heart, I dashed across the room, grabbed the door knob and sprinted out of there, searching for a better place to hide. I hurried to the first room I could find. The door was left slightly ajar, so I slipped in easily and practically threw myself inside before closing the door behind me with a loud bang.Panting, I force my eyes shut as I felt tears form under my eyelids. My toes curled and my knuckles had turned white from the pressure I've been putting on th

HUNTERI was stupid to think I can get a fucking good night sleep with her ass pressing up slightly against my crotch. My cock is literally throbbing, and it hurts. No matter, I can jerk it off in the shower a little later. Because if I move now, I'll probably wake her up. Since I saw how she cried and trembled violently last night because of the raging thunder, I never wanted to leave her side. With her locked in my arms, I can let her know that she's safe.I sighed inwardly. Why the fuck am I even doing this? Why do I always have this urge to protect her from any harm? Why does my gut twist every fucking time I see a tear escape her eyes?I haven't even fucking marked her yet, so all this doesn't make any sense.Unlike what most humans think, werewolves like us don't crash into our mates' arms the second we sense or feel their presence. Sure we could feel sparks, tingles, all that shit. But at the end of the day, it's still our choice whether or not to accept the bond... or reject

HUNTERI could still smell her intoxicating scent lingering in my truck. I inhale it, letting the scent flow and seep into my senses. The smell of strawberries and roses. Oddly, they make a sweet, beautiful combination that simply is too addicting. I can’t get enough of it. Of her.One taste. One time. That’s all I need. Maybe after I’d be back to normal, because this? This is beyond normal. Wanting to touch her every now and then, douse myself in the feel of her skin, her lips, all of her. At this point, I think she’s about to drive insane.Ava Williams is going to be the death of me.Running my fingers through my hair, I sighed and decided to flunk the first period. I groaned when I try to move.Fuck.Now how am I gonna get rid of this hard on beneath my pants? It hurts to walk, literally a pain in my ass.I spun on my heel, ready to walk it off when I heard someone panting behind me.Turning back around, I see the same girl who I believe is Amy catching her breath. What is she doin

AVAMy eyes fluttered open, blinking warily at the white porcelein ceiling above me. The walls, equally painted clear white, blinding me almost as I stared confusedly at the magnificent walls."She's up! Quiet, you two! Better yet, remove yourselves from here if you want to start a fight," Amy's sharp yet stern voice split the air cautionlessly, creating a hushed sound that spread across the room in an instant.I blinked, allowing my vision to clear up before Amy's face appears before me."How are you feeling?" She whispered softly.I gave her a small smile and when I tried to move, my head spun suddenly, as if I had been thrust into a spiraling portal that slammed me onto a dark consciousness.Groaning, my hands darted to grip the edge of the bed. Amy catched me in time, but I feel two other pairs of hands holding onto me. Two on each shoulder.Forcing my eyes open, I looked up only to see Axel and Hunter glaring each other down in what seemed like a deadly staring battle.Amy rolled
