I stand by the door of the bathroom. I’m nervous to leave Nadia on her own. Not that she can’t handle herself, I know she feels out of her element. I’m having breakfast with Nadia and her mom. Nadia is beaming, and I’m happy that she has found her mom. I hope to help them find her father, but if he had let anyone know about his lycan heritage, he would have been killed. The chances that he survived are slim. The council meeting went by in a long blur. It ended with the council divided. Half of them didn’t care that I was a rogue slave, they were hyper focused on my lycan hertage because Maddox and I will give birth to children with the most lycan blood seen in decades.
