I’m having breakfast with Nadia and her mom. Nadia is beaming, and I’m happy that she has found her mom. I hope to help them find her father, but if he had let anyone know about his lycan heritage, he would have been killed. The chances that he survived are slim. Male rogue slaves tend to be killed within the first few years of servitude for one reason or another. They are assigned hard and tedious work. They are often used as training dummies for the warriors of the pack and sustain severe injuries. The females are different. I know I haven't updated this book in a while. My pregnancy got complicated and I ended up in the hospital and had an early delivery. I've also had a bit of writer's block with this story but that doesn't mean I've given up on it. I'm trying to finish up Alpha's fated Omega and then I will be focusing on this story for this app. I have one story I'm working on for another app and then stories that get published on Am*z*n. Plus I'm finding a new balance with four year old twins and a newborn. So please be patient with me. I promise I will be getting updates in this story ASAP. My goal is to have the other story finished by the end Feb and then focus on this story. Thank you for patience and reader ship.
The Rogue Slave Chapter 23- Nadia
The council meeting went by in a long blur. It ended with the council divided. Half of them didn’t care that I was a rogue slave, they were hyper focused on my lycan hertage because Maddox and I will give birth to children with the most lycan blood seen in decades. The Rogue Slave Chapter 1-Nadia
I go about my daily duties of cleaning the Alpha’s office, bedroom, and bathroom. I put away his laundry and collect the pile of dirty clothes that need to be washed. Alpha Maddox is now the official Alpha of his pack as his father passed a few years ago during the war with another pack. For eight years I’ve been his slave. The Alpha is surprisingly nice to me. He makes sure I’m fed, clothed, and my room is across the hall from his. Granted, it’s the size of a closet, but it’s better than staying with the other slaves in the basement. The basement of the packhouse is set up with cots for the other slaves. The servants get to go back to their homes when they are done their shift. The other servants and slaves hate me. I leave Maddox’s office as quickly as I can. I can’t stand being around his mom and uncle. They make me uneasy.
