Rebirth: The Dark Sorceress のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 61 - チャプター 70

He glanced at the woman lying next to him. She seemed so at peace sleeping. Her long lashes resting softly atop her cheek, she was the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen.He felt a pang at the reminder of what was going on and the bastards who had connived and had done this. He wished he could get his hands on them and make them feel his wrath, but they had done a clean job, leaving behind no trail. He ran his hands on her cheeks, feeling the softness of her skin on his hardened palm. He couldn't lose her to this, never. Damon knew he was going to find a way to sort this mess out no matter what happens."Are you going to stare at me all morning?" She asked with her eyes still closed, a small smile on her lips.He couldn't help himself and he leaned down, dropping a kiss on her lips but the softness caught him in and she wrapped her arms around his neck deepening their kiss. This was one of the things he loves about Alena, she was never shy to take when she wanted. Her fingers dug into

Damon's eyes were on his and when he spoke, his tone was even colder than before."Pray, Alex, what the hell is so funny?"Dad placed his hands on my shoulder. "Are you certain of your words, Alena? You can't just make this sort of allegation."Alex rose and stared at Damon with disbelief in his eyes."Don't tell me you believe this bullshit." His voice held a strong tone of anger.I took a fearless step toward him. The bastard really couldn't tell when it was game up."What? Are you going to deny that you're housing Adrianne? A vampire who used to run the gambling house?" I asked.“Adrianne is not…”"So that was what it was," Damon said in a low tone, we all turned to him."I knew you had been hiding something the day we'd gone to the gambling house, or in this case someone, someone you didn't want me to see," Damon said.Alex shook his head. "You can't be serious Damon! You can't be fucking serious!""Remember who you are talking to, Alex," Dad said."You shut the hell up!" He yelle

"I can't believe this, Luna," Helena said, her shock still lingering on her face and that of the other servant girls that crowded me."It is the truth," I said, choosing to savor every moment of Alex's defeat. He made a wrong decision with this last move, he should have known better than to set me of all people up... Now he was gone, he and his lady love. It was still a shock to me that Adrianne and Alex were in a relationship. That bastard Theo! He had lied to me, hadn't he said it wasn't Alex? I felt like smacking my head for even listening to him in the first place, subtly I wiped my hand on my lips at his reminder.Hell! Theodore disgusted me to no end.And it seemed I'd somehow adopted the stupid behavior of believing everything others had to say to me because why had I believed Adrianne too? Of course, she wasn't going to tell me that she and Alex had set me up... What had I been thinking?"Did you know beforehand?" Another servant asked, eagerness in her tone.I nodded, "I figu

"A pack merger?" Damon asked, the surprise and displeasure evident in his voice. "this is the worst time for that."It was late evening, almost midnight, and dad had called for a meeting with the council and following my involvement in getting Alex caught, Damon had asked me to come along. The meeting held was to inform us about the pack merger and I agreed wholly, why in the world were we going to conduct a pack merger at this time? Alex's trial was still a week and a few days away and no other vampire had been found, it was as though they'd simply vanished into thin air and we were all upset about that. It certainly is the worst time for it."I know we were waiting until the next full moon to do this, but it is obvious we are in quite a certain level of danger now, we have no idea where the vampires are hiding. I have a strong feeling they are planning something big and it will happen during the trial. It will be a good idea to recruit more people in our land, and that way we will h

True to my father's words, the members of the Winterborn pack were small in number. They weren't half in size compared to the Dark moon’s, not only was the Dark moon pack the most powerful, but they also were the highest in population amongst the other werewolves pack. The members of the Winterborn pack were distinguishable from their very pale skin and light hair color which told me that wherever they had been previously inhibited received less sunlight than here.Their leader, the Beta, was a sick-looking man and he walked with difficulty. The members of the Dark Moon pack had gathered around to watch the merger and they did with a mix of eager and anxious eyes. The Beta stood in front of me and Damon and he gave us a grateful smile.“It is my greatest pleasure and I hold nothing but profound appreciation to you, Alpha Damon, for agreeing to this pack merger despite Winterborn having little to offer. I speak for the whole of Winterborn when I swear complete loyalty and devotion to y
