The Dragon Slayer's Queen のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

It looked like it was getting pretty late. As I opened my eyes, I figured I must have dozed off and better get back to my house. While lying there, I heard footsteps, and the leaves crunching scared me. I sat straight up and turned towards the noise, seeing a tall figure moving towards me. I jumped up, my head still throbbing, matching the pounding of my heart as my mind began to race. The figure was getting close. I started moving slowly backward to have a clear path to run. I noticed it was a boy about my age; he looked about 5" 7 with dark hair and had a toned build like a football player. He was getting closer, and I ended up bumping into a tree. I panicked and yelled, “HEY, stop, don’t come any closer. “The boy stopped in his tracks but didn’t come any closer, trying to look for an exit. I scanned the area around the boy, but he blocked the exit. “Are you okay? That wound looks bad. Can I look? “he asked with a gentle voice. “No, no, “I stuttered, “stay where you are, please.

I awoke to a pounding on my door. “ZAYLA, Mom wants you downstairs, “ my sisters shouted through the door. They continued to pound on my door. “ UGH okay, I sighed with frustration, I am up, STOP pounding on the door. “ “Geez, someone is pissy, “ one of my sisters said, laughing as they headed downstairs. Rolling my eyes, I pulled the covers off me and sat up on the edge of the bed, Taking a deep breath I got up went to the closet pulled out some leggings and my old but comfortable ACDC shirt, and went into the bathroom to put on mascara and brush my teeth, and my brush my hair, I then pulled my hair up in a ponytail, as I went to go change my bandage, I started to try to figure out how I was going to explain it, as I removed the bandage it was completely healed up, WTF there is no way something so big could have healed that fast it should have taken a couple of weeks to heal. As I started at my complexion, I noticed a difference in the color of my hair; it started to look almost dar

As I stormed into the office, I looked down at my phone. “Great, the whole screen was completely cracked, UGH, I had coffee all down the front of me. Luckily, I had a change of clothing, but unfortunately, they were gym clothes. Great, just great. “What happened to you? “Mrs. Parker asked her to come around her desk. “Just a wall jumping out at me. I laugh dryly. “Were you texting and walking again?” she asked, her eyebrows raised. “Yes,” I sighed, looking down, flustered. The guy from the hall walked in after I heard the office door open. Mrs. Parker turned around to greet him. He stared at me as if he were looking at my soul or something. He had the most mesmerizing honey-brown eyes. I shook my head back to attention. “Mrs. Parker, I am going to change my clothes, “I told her as I walked past him. “Okay, hun, hurry back so we can do the tour,” she added sweetly with a mischievous grin. I wouldn't stay to find out why he was here, but he was still looking at me. I don't like it. He

**Liam's POV (continued)** As the girl and her crew sauntered away, I shook my head and made my way to first period, a sinking feeling settling in my gut. I could sense trouble brewing with that girl, but my thoughts were fixated on Zayla. What was she up to? I couldn’t shake the worry and planned to track her down after class. When the hour finally ticked by, I bolted out of class, scanning every hallway for her. Panic bubbled inside me when I realized she was missing. Where could she have gone? My heart raced as I dashed to the office, only to find Mrs. Parker clueless about her whereabouts. Forcing myself to breathe, I decided to hold out hope that I’d see her at lunch. Two agonizing hours later, the bell rang, and I rushed toward the cafeteria. My eyes darted over the sea of students, desperation clawing at me as I searched for Zayla. No sign of her. Disheartened, I grabbed a tray of food and slumped into an empty seat, my mind still racing. The dreaded voice shattered my thou

Hearing Jenifer’s voice saved me from my rampage. “W-what did you say?” I asked, still in shoc,k “Your eyes were glowing,” she said “almost like a dark violet She finished speaking in a low focusing on her and noticed her eyes were big as saucers, She studied me up and done, and before I could ask her any more questions, a teacher pulled me by my arm. “Ms. Preston, you need to go to the office. We don’t condone fighting. “I’m in trouble, but I didn’t care or feel bad about it. She got what was coming to her. We walked down the hall to the front office. Following Mrs. Crawford, Mrs. Parker was sitting at her desk. She shot me a proud look and mouthed “Sorry” as Mrs. Crawford pushed me into the principal's office. “Do you understand? Sit down and don’t move. “She threatened. Mrs. Crawford thought Mariah couldn’t do anything wrong because she was one of her many admirers. Mrs. Crawford was short and stocky and always kept her hair in a bun. She never smiles. She reminded me of a sta
