Somewhere in the Southern area“So that bitch Drina has finally found her fated mate.” Alcina, the witch, grits her teeth as she reads her writings of the day. This is the final episode of her plan, the day she’d been waiting for two decennia. Drina and her mate will complete her revenge on Florence and her mate, Arthur. For years she has kept an eye on the daughter of the couple who has radically changed her life. From baby to her teens, she’d watched the only daughter of Florence. On a few occasions, she has given them sleepless nights by casting a spell of sickness on the little Drina, just enough to ensure she won’t die. Before ending Drina’s life, Alcina has another soap in mind with she, herself playing the leading role.Drina is the key to her plan. The witch hates Florence and her mate with all that’s in her. They are responsible for the loss of everything important she owned. It was over twenty years ago when Arthur burned her coven, the largest in the western hemisphere, to

Alcina walks at her leisure towards the highway. Her idea is to hitchhike to Alpha King Enrick's Midnight Moon pack. That's where her plan will begin. Now that she has temporarily lost her powers and is practically just human, she will have to make some adjustments to her original idea. She sniffs her body and notices that her witch scent is gone. Perfect too. It couldn't get any better, now she can't be recognized by the werewolves. When she reaches the highway, she sits down and waits on a stone. It is still early in the morning, there is a watery sun in the sky. With a few strokes, she blows her black locks out and lifts her face into the air, taking a deep fresh breath to relax. Under all circumstances, she must regain her normal posture to avoid arousing the werewolves’ suspicion. She wipes the heavy make-up off her face with a damp cloth and applies some moisturizer. When she looks in the small mirror of her toiletry bag, there is nothing to tell that she is a wit

‘Alpha, did you see the woman Gamma Clark brought to the pack?’Beta Jace tries to alert Alpha King Enrick in the mind link to Clark's girlfriend, whom he finds highly suspicious. Her aura is dark, his senses warn that she is not bringing anything good to the pack.‘No, he hasn't introduced me to her yet. What's up? You don't sound well,’ Enrick asks him in surprise. Jace usually is an easygoing guy. He remains correct and good-humored until the pack's safety is compromised or when he's dealing with rogues. But in this case, he seems to be having issues with a friend of the pack's Gamma. That is not good news.‘Well, she comes across as highly suspicious. Something is so off with her, it's like she entered our pack with a plan. I don't trust her at all, Alpha,’ he states firmly. Enrick frowns now. ‘Okay, go for information about her and I'll tell Clark to bring her so I can meet her. Only then can I say more about this,’ he answers his Beta. As the men finish their conversation, Enric

“Enrick!”Drina yanks up from her sleep with a scream. Disoriented, she first stares in front of her and then looks around the room. She realizes she is home in her own bed, not in Midnight Moon, next to her mate. His name came out before she even thought about it. In her dreams, she saw him with the malicious grinning Alcina in his arms as he stared at her with so much hatred.Over the next few weeks, she must physically recover before meeting Enrick again. But the nightmare she just woke up from makes her realize that something is terribly wrong. What she feared for years and wanted to protect her mate from, now seems to have presented itself. As she looks around her room, she realizes that Enrick is not only the center of her concern, her responsibilities go far beyond her mate. Sweat of fear breaks out on her forehead, this whole debacle is getting serious now. She quickly throws off the covers and inspects the cribs beside her bed. Fortunately, they all sleep through the night, h

With one jump, the White Wolf is in the Alpha King's apartment. Some of the Border Patrol warriors saw her running towards the packhouse, but could only watch in distress as she disappeared into the pack's garden. Shaking their heads, they turned and continued on their way, determined to talk to Beta Jace about this matter again. When Drina enters the bedroom, she notices that Enrick is still working in his study. She walks to the en-suite, takes a perfumed bath and pulls out a short yellow dress from the closet. Enrick always makes sure she has enough clothes here for all occasions. She then strolls to a cabinet in the farthest corner and takes out some chains and a lock. She is now unable to have sex with her mate but that doesn't stop her from pleasing him. Now that she knows that Alcina is after their mate bond, she wants to do everything to strengthen the relationship. Not that she doubts Enrick's loyalty, but she knows what the witch is capable of.Silently opening the door, she
