Early in the morning when birds started chirping, Amelia opened her eyes slowly until her eyes got adjusted to the day light only to get seated with a jerk finding herself in an unfamiliar place and looked all around the room.It took her some time to get the things registered in her mind. She immediately looked beside her only to find the place where her mother was lying on all empty. But before she could start thinking about where her mother could be, the sound of water came to her hearing only to get her turn towards the washroom.Getting out of the washroom, her mother spoke up seeing her awake already, "You are awake? Get some more sleep."Amelia got down from the bed as she spoke up, "I am fine, Mom." and forwarded towards the washroom.Getting freshen up when she got out, her mother was arranging their clothes in the closet. She was about to say something but got interrupted by a knock on the door.Stella looked at Amelia and then forwarded to answer the door. Amelia’s P.O.V.To my utter surprise, a man rose up from the water of the swimming pool, making a loud cacophony of splashes. I shrieked in fear unknowingly and pulled my legs out of the water, pressing them to my chest. That man ran his hand in his soaking hair, moving them back and looked up at me. My eyes widened to its full length when I recognized the face. It was Nathan. He groaned aloud, shaking his head at me. I got frozen for few seconds, still couldn't believe my eyes. He rubbed his palms against his face to wipe off the water from his face. My eyes followed the water droplets that were going down to his naked chest.Wait, naked chest? The sight brought roses to my cheeks. Instantly, I got back to my sense and stood on my feet. He swam underwater towards the end and jumped out of the pool. My eyebrows rose in surprise when I got to see the full view of his body. He was just in plain black shorts. Something tickled in my stomach as my eyes stubbornly scrutinized his masculi

Amelia's POVAfter that day, I tried my best not to face Nathan. Though I felt his gaze on me but feigned totally ignorant of that. I stopped walking at night even if I was awake till late being unable to fall asleep. So when I got to know they were shifting to their resort, I felt relieved thinking I wouldn't have to face Nathan for now for few days.Though I felt somewhat sad but I found something good also. Mom was right. Nathan wasn't of my league just. And besides, he was getting married. I shouldn't have such immoral thoughts for someone who was going to be someone else's in few days. But my destiny really chose not to do any favour and go easy on me.We were also asked to accompany them to the resort and on top of this, I instantly got turned into someone's personal maid. Not just someone but Katrina, the would-be bride of Nathan. What luck I got! I wonderedI was told to follow her wherever she went. She was about to get out for shopping with Nathan and I had to follow her.It

Nathan’s POVBeing all confused and restless, I got out to get some fresh air. The more my engagement date was getting nearer, the more I was getting restless.Besides all this, my mind was occupied with the thought of Amelia to the extent that I wasn’t being able to get her out of it.My thought got interrupted when I got to hear a horn. A car was getting parked in its specific place and I saw Katrina getting out of it.I was about to leave as I didn’t want to talk to her. Not now at least and took some steps towards the entrance but got stopped when I heard her muttering, “You bitch, what did you do to my dress?”I turned to her being confused about who was she talking about all this and then saw it.She slapped Amelia. I forwarded towards her immediately only to find her raising her hand again.Getting in between, I held her hand as I got uttering, “What’s wrong with you? Have you lost it?”Katrina spoke up, “Look, what she did to my dress!” pointing at her dress. It looked somewhat

It was only getting me to realize that he already belonged to someone else.My feelings now had to be buried deep down. It was bound to be happen. But all I was remembering just last night which wasn't worth remembering anymore. When he took me in his arms, uttered those words which made me dream something forbidden. Desire something forbidden.I shouldn't have let my guards down. I should have known my limitation and stayed within it.I just wish we would have never crossed paths. Even if we crossed paths, I would have just walked past him, then it would have saved me from this much hurt and pain. When the wedding which was supposed to happen after few days popped into my mind, I got more restless."No. I can't stay here.
