ELLA.Am still in bed catching up on my favorite show when Chloe knocks at my door."Hey, how are you feeling? She asks concerned as she sits on the other side of the bed."Am sorry about what Jordan said in there, and for him blaming everything on you.""Well it's nothing new, he is always accusing me of me something ever since he found out i was pregnant. I always seem like the better punching bag to get all his emotions and frustrations on." "Well that doesn't make it okay, he shouldn't be talking to you like that." "You think am happy about it, i hate it when he humiliates me like that, i guess i sold my soul when i moved in here and until the babies are born there really isn't anything i can do about it." I thought about running away again, but with everything that's going on i might just be putting myself in harmsway, so i decided to just lay low and and mind my business, atleast until the babies were born. Currently this is the safest place we can be in. "How are things wit

LeilaMy first instinct when i woke up was to reach over for Michael , but when i found the spot next to me to be emptt, i couldn't help but groan. Wh6 did this man argue about sleeping in every day of the week but the one day that i wanted to cuddle in the morning, he was already up?"Michael ?" i called out to him in a groggy voice, wishing for nothing more than for him to return to bed. That way, we would be able to get those cuddles that i was so badly craving.I have been wanting to be with him for the longest time now, the fact that last night it happened I just want things to stay this way. When he didn't answer me as i expected, i couldn't help but grumble to my pillow, more than disappointed. This continued for a few seconds and just when i was on the verge of falling back asleep, my ears perked up at some foreign sounds from the living room.Who was Michael speaking to so early in the morning? As far as i had noticed, he wasn't much of a morning person.I also know today is

Chapter Fourty SixI found a seat at a circular table covered in white damask. I sat there sipping some juice looking around at the people who were chatting away. For all the elegance of the surroundings and the endless number of servants, the overall vibe was casual and relaxed.I was starting to enjoy myself when someone i had hoped not to see again stepped out of the house into the terrace, Maria looking phenomenal in a rose hued chiffon gown that floated around her knees. I could see why Jordan was infatuated with her, she looks amazing, and she is so beautiful. A hand settled on my shoulders and squeezed, setting my heart racing because it reminded mw of the first day i met Jordan. True to my inst8nct, turning around it was Jordan standing there smiling down at me with all his teeth out like a kid at Christmas. "Hey Ella," he took the chair next to mine, and set his elbows on his knees, leaning towards me. "Are you having fun? You are not mingling much.""I'am having a great ti

Leila. This past few days have been nothing but pure bliss, Michael and i have literally been playing house like we had no worries in the world. I just went to the market to get some groceries for tonight. Maria was going to join us and give us an update on how events were progressing at her place. We still haven't told her about Edwin's visit, we plan on doing it today. After making sure i had gotten everything in my grocery list, i walk towards my car,"Where are they?" I couldn't help but grumble under my breath as i grumble under my breath as i dug deeper into my bag for the car keys. Frustrated groan after frustrated groan passes my lips until finally, i wrapped my fingers around the cold metal of my car keys.At the single press of a button, the sound of my unlocking car filled the air, but when i looked up, i was met with an unexpected sight.I immediately dropped all the shopping bags i was holding, spilling some of the contents dues to the force i used. Having stopped a few

Leila. "Did you find anything?" Michael asks coming into the master bedroom that Maria and Jordan supposedly share."Yes, we found a couple of things that will mske some good cash," i say showing him the jewelry we had collected that was all in a plastic bag."Am really optimistic, we are going to get all the cash we need." I say smiling as i take out a vintage watch, "Jordan was given this watch by his dad, it's a family heirloom, but he never wears it so i doubt he will notice its missing at all." i say as i take it out of its box and drop it into the patch we were going to sell. There is sudden movements, coming from outside, we all look at Maria who rushes to look from the windows, she opens a small part of the curtains to look outside, we all join her. Someone is at the main gate we can see head lights and he was trying to open the gate."Who else has keys to this house?" Michael asked what i was obviously dying to ask."No one," she answers back still looking out of the window.
