DoubtI SMILED at mommy as I approached where she was standing by the side of the big door of our house."Hi, Mom." I kissed her cheek."How was your first day at work, darling?""It's fine, mom. I'm still adjusting right now but no worries because our employees are always been good to me,""I'm glad to hear that, dear. Oh, anyway, I baked some cookies, your favorite. Wanna try it?""Oh, I love it, mom. It's perfect cause I'm really tired from a long day's work.""Let's go inside and you get changed your clothes now. So that you can have a snack right away,"After I got dressed, I immediately went down to the kitchen. There I saw mommy and the two of our maids. The four of us had a good time. Mom and I always allowed them to eat with us. Our kind helper is no different from us, and mommy is pleased to have someone to talk to while we are eating. After we had a snack we went to the veranda of our house."Your Aunt Minerva called me this morning, dear," Mommy said when I was just sittin

Seriously"GOOD morning, Ma'am, Sir." Jina greeted us as we entered his office."Good morning, Jina..." I replied to Damien's Secretary. "Will you please make him a cup of coffee?""Sure, ma'am..."After I closed his office, I faced his desk. I saw him already sitting on his swivel chair."What did you say to my Secretary?" he is serious while asking."I asked her to bring you coffee," I smiled in awe. "Would you like a cup of coffee before you start your work?""Do I say I want a coffee right now, Ms. Torres?"My mouth was awed because it seemed like a different behavior at that time. I still smile at him even though I am curious."That's what I know. Don't you want it?""No. I didn't say I needed it."I got serious. I cleared my throat. "Okay, I'm sorry. I'll just have your Secretary cancel it." I said, turning my back."No need. Come here and sit down. Tell me what you want to show me!""It's about business,""Of course, it's about business!" he pointed that word.I swallowed at th

ApologizeI GET my phone and composed some text messages. Whether he reads it or not is up to him. After I sent the short message I dropped the cell phone on the side of the sofa. It's not my thing to send him a message, it just happened to be necessary. I saw that he read it and looked at me.I raised my eyebrows slightly. And I get his response with a simple nod."Darling,"I looked at my mother. "Yes, mom?""Your Aunt is asking you,""Huh? Um, what is it, Aunt?""I said, what do you prepare for your wedding? Is it a beach, a church, or?""Mom, we both decided on a simple wedding." I looked at Damien because of what he said. I am glad he said that."No." His mom protested immediately."And also no... I won't agree because my daughter can only get married once," my mom also protested.I sighed. I don't want to talk anymore. I also felt that Damien didn't answer and tried to convince both of our mothers.I saw that he typed a message, and I immediately felt my cell phone vibrate."You

Dinner with the CoupleI LOOKED at a private restaurant bar that Damien phoned me to, where he and her girlfriend was going to dine. That place is beautiful. It is private so maybe almost wealthy people who want privacy can dine there.I got out of my car and went to the entrance of the restaurant. The employee immediately greeted me at the entrance. When I mentioned Damien's name, he smiled and directed me to where to go.I smiled and thanked her... as I got inside the restaurant, I immediately liked it because it has a nice ambiance and a live singer who sweetly sings late 90's love songs. There is a bit of dim light around and I guessed correctly that it was good because the bare table has its privacy. It has dimension walls. When I saw the table I was taught, I immediately stared at them. There I saw Damien, I couldn't see the woman with him because her back was in my direction. I guess Damien didn't notice me so I just continued my walk. Until I was close to them."Hey, you're he

Kiss the BrideEVERYTHING was perfect. The only thing missing from my wedding is one of my beloved, my father. And first, I don't feel like I am an emotional bride... that is because our wedding is not like those lovely couples who were deeply in love with each other. That Beach wedding could be called perfect for all of Damien and I's guests. Our parents are truly convinced that Damien and I are really getting better... but only friends know. Our nuptials are quite expensive because of the perfect place. Everything is in order. There are also complete bridesmaids. There is also a cute flower girl and a ring bearer. There are a few Godfathers and Godmothers. My made of Honor is none other than my best friend Nancy. Cedy was also among the groom's maids... on behalf of my father... mom's brother became my stand-in father who was with mom by bringing me to the altar. My mom feels emotional, she feels it more than I who is going to get married. When we are finally at the altar, she hugge
