CLAIRE's POVI sat cross-legged on my bed, surrounded by stacks of books and parchment scrolls, which I had fished from the library. The room was silent except for the occasional rustle of pages as I delved deeper into my father's clan history. The more I read, the more fascinated I became with their powers. My father's clan had the ability to move objects with their minds. It was called telekinesis, and it allowed them to manipulate the world around them in ways that were almost unimaginable. They could lift heavy objects, move things without touching them, and even fly through the air with ease.It was a strange power, one that has never been heard of before. Back in the other realm, I was under the impression that there were only two clans; the witches and the wolves. It never occurred to me that another realm such as this would exist. As I read, I could almost feel the power coursing through my veins, as if I too had the ability to move things with my mind. I decided to give it a

CLAIRE's POVI set myself up in the middle of my room, a large open space, pushing away anything that would obstruct or hinder my movements. I was taking Alan's words to heart and my goal for today was to train, all by myself. I took his advice and began my routine, determined to learn how to move objects with my mind.I got down on the floor and positioned my hands shoulder-width apart. My arms trembled as I lowered myself down, and I felt the strain in my muscles. I pushed myself back up, gritting my teeth as I felt the burn in my arms and chest. The sweat dripped down my forehead and onto the floor as I continued to struggle through the pushups.I did my best to keep my mind focused on the task at hand, but my thoughts kept drifting. I thought about how badly I wanted to learn how to use my father's clan powers quickly and how frustrated I was that I hadn't yet mastered telekinesis. I worried that my father might not want me again if I couldn't use the clan's powers. That thought

CLAIRE's POVMy eyes widened in shock and I could not hide how much her sudden question had affected me. How did she know? Had she seen me? I had been very careful to stay at the very edge of the garden, to avoid getting seen by anyone. But I had failed."Are you deaf? I'm asking to a question," Eliana's haughty voice broke me out of my thoughts.I froze for a second, trying to think of a good excuse. "What do you mean?" I asked, trying to sound innocent."Don't play dumb with me," Eliana snapped. "I saw you talking to Alan near the greenhouse. Are you dumb or something? I know you were at the garden.""I was just walking by," I lied, trying to sound convincing.Eliana rolled her eyes. "Yeah, right. Like you would ever be interested in talking to him. Come on, Claire, Spit it out.""I am telling the truth!" I insisted, feeling the heat rising in my cheeks."Whatever," Eliana scoffed, crossing her arms. "Just don't get too comfortable around him, but then again, he is at your level. Co

CLAIRE's POVI entered the spacious training hall in the palace, feeling a bit apprehensive. Unfortunately, Eliana and Diana, were already there, practicing their telekinesis powers. The hall was illuminated by torches mounted on the walls, casting flickering shadows that danced on the marble floor. After my father had made it mandatory to practice with my stepsister, he had scheduled our first training session for today. I was too nervous and anxious to get any sleep at night. My eyes danced around the room, taking in the decor that I had never seen before. The hall was vast, with high ceilings and large windows, letting in the warm sunlight. The walls were adorned with intricate carvings, and the floor was made of polished marble. The room was filled with various training equipment.Eliana and Diana stood in the middle of it all.As I approached them, Eliana and Diana stopped their training and looked at me with contempt. They were both stood tall, an aura of poise around them, with

DOMINIK's POVI walked briskly down the forest path, my eyes fixed on the ground as I tried to ignore the nagging pain in my chest. Luis, my beta, walked beside me, his steps light and easy. I could feel his curious gaze on me, but I didn't have the energy to look up and meet it.We were on our way to see Ube, the well-known magician who could supposedly help me open a portal to the realm where Claire was. I missed her dearly and couldn't bear to be without her for much longer. I had to find a way to get her back."Are you sure this is a good idea, Alpha?" Luis spoke up, breaking the silence between us.I sighed heavily, knowing what he was getting at. "I have to try, Luis. I can't just sit here and do nothing.""I know, but Ube...he's a bit of a recluse, isn't he?" Luis said, his tone hesitant.I nodded, remembering what I had heard about the magician. "Yes, but he's our only hope. And besides, we've come this far already."Luis didn't say anything more, but I could tell he was worri
