Selena povHe doesn't say anything, just keeps his eyes locked on me." can I help you with something!" I say and try to sound unbothered by his presence. His eyes travel over my body before his hand comes up around my neck and force me close to his body. I feel tingles from his hand and hold the towel tighter around my body. His breath fanning my face and I hear him take a large inhail, I know my presence affects him too." you will stay in this room until I'm back. Your interrogation isn't over!" He growls at me.I just keep my eyes on his but don't say anything. He lets go of me and turns around. Seeing him walking over to the door and stopping right in front of it." don't think about escaping! There will be guards outside the whole time!" That's all he says before he walks out the door leaving me alone.Letting out a breath of relief when he has left I gather myself and walk out of the bathroom. Finding a shirt and underwear I start putting them on when I hear several people talk

Selena pov I keep running with everything I got! Dodging trees and bushes when suddenly a wolf comes running from the right. I managed to dodge him and get some steps ahead of him. I know it's one of Kian's men and if one has managed to get down the slope somehow the others will soon be down too. Looking over the river to the left I know there is my chance to escape if I just can get over there. Trying to run faster when I hear several wolves to the side I know they will soon catch up to me. Turning my head to the right I see his big black wolf running at a speed I can't outrun. Running faster and when I come to a rock by the edge I hit it with my paws and put some energy into the jump and I almost come flying over the river. There is no way they can follow me over here! Landing on the other side with a slide and I se the wolves on the other side coming to an abrupt halt when they hit the river. My mate is standing on the other side with two other big wolves on his side, which ma

I just state to her and walk by, heading up the stairs and to my room. I hear her running after me and when I come inside my room I head right over to my bathroom."I did warn you to not go there! I was you who didn't listen" she says when I turn on the shower and wait for the water to get warmer before stepping inside."But you knew!" I say to her and look angry at her. She just starts to laugh and I roll my eyes at her. I'm not surprised about her behavior at all. I bet she finds this really funny!"Yes, I did! And maybe I thought it was time you saw that nice piece of as again. How did you like your time with your mate" she says and wiggles her eyebrows at me. Pinching the bridge of my nose and take a deep breath." you know what! I don't want him. I give him to you! Then you can enjoy his nice

Selena pov I had a hard time sleeping last night, tossed and turned the whole night, and saw my brother's face when I looked at him before going over the cliff. Hate that I had to do this to him! Early in the morning I gave up and got dressed for the day instead. I have been in my office for a few hours before Jessie comes walking inside. " Everything ready for today?" She asks when she takes a seat in front of me. "Some new deliveries are coming and I hope everything arrives for the hospital today! Can you take Jacob and Zoey's men to guard it when it arrives?" I ask her. When I started rescuing people they stayed by my side and at one point we became our own pack. I became the Alpha and for me, it was an easy choice to have Jessie as my beta. She is one of my family and I can always count on her. The road we have been traveling to come to this point hasn't been easy. My pack members are the rejected and outcasts, they have all been through hell and when we shoved up to their r

I have a post box registered in the city. No one really knows where I live."I have a few things to do on Friday before the banquet, it's better if I meet you outside at seven!""Alright" he says and we start walking to the elevator. Before we reach we say goodbye. He has some more things to wrap up and I have to hurry back home.It doesn't take long before I'm back home and I see the delivery have arrived and several men are buissy getting everything over to the new hospital building. The building is almost done just some small things left and then all the furniture needs to be set up.We can’t wait to have the hospital done.I walk over to check it out and Jacob walks over to me.” Is everything in order?” I ask him
