The Alpha King And His Wolfless Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

KaiIt's been a week since I and my men helped Alexander reclaim his pack, and we have been helping him rebuild some of the houses and places that were destroyed by Derrick and his rascals.Despite my constant plea to Alexander to remain calm while we look for his mate, he has been acting up lately. He is becoming very violent and gets easily irritated. He is having a hard time keeping his wolf in check, and as a result, some of my men are beginning to feel unwelcome due to his attitude toward them. And if I didn't know his personality before now, I too would have taken offense at his recent attitude. But I know what is happening to him. With his mate out in the unknown, his wolf is restless and we can only pray that he finds her soon, else things are going to get worse from now on.Jessica, on the other hand, is responding to treatment. Though she is still traumatized and not saying anything yet, the doctors have assured me that she would be fine with time.If I can't help but think

JasonToday is the day for the battle between Alexander and me. Everything is all set to work in my favor.Derrick has helped with all that I needed to ensure I successfully killed Alexander out there. With just a few hours to the combat, I am doing the finishing touches on all our arrangements. All that is left is to ensure that Ashley is seated on the field, beautifully dressed in a set of costumes that Derrick brought for her.The costume is a beautiful, flowing yellow gown with beautiful embroidery and trimmings. It is a dress befitting of a queen. The costume serves two purposes. One is to make Ashley look very beautiful to Alexander so he would think she was completely happy without him. This is to throw him off his game, so I can easily defeat him.Another purpose of the gown, according to Derrick, is that when worn properly, she won't be able to hear audibly whatever is being said a distance away from her. This is also to ensure that she doesn't get to hear Alexander's voice d

AlexanderThis was much more difficult than I had anticipated. Standing so close to Ashley and not being recognized by her drives my wolf crazy.Meanwhile, her beautiful nerve-calming scent is pulling me closer to her by the minute.Watching the idiot that calls himself an alpha whisper some nonsense to her ears makes me want to kill him right there and then.He will surely die.I watched with anger as he stood up from the chair and started walking toward the arena. He soon gets in and stops. The crowd is thrown into silence as everyone anticipates what will happen next. Even Ashley is watching with keen interest.Does she like him so much that she would want to take so much interest in bloody combat? I would never have thought my Ashley would like such violence.Indeed, I have been gone for a long time."You can see your mate is happy by my side. Isn't she looking beautiful?" I heard him say tauntingly to me.Honestly, I couldn't argue with him. Ashley looked like she was having the

AlexanderHearing Jason tell me things about Ashley that I never knew about broke my heart. It made me question everything, including the way I felt towards her if indeed she was my true mate.I would never have imagined that Ashley would want to shut some aspect of her life away from me.Was I too much in a hurry to claim her as my mate, or did I mistake my lust for her as love? But, even if my human nature was wrong, can my wolf be wrong too? I remember him calling her mate on the night of the luna initiation.Did I make a mistake in marking her?I pondered because I could not just imagine why she could keep such an important aspect of her life a secret from me.She is our mate I heard my wolf say from within me.But his words were not so soothing as I could feel my heart break into a million pieces. And as if the clouds could echo my emotions, the clouds started gathering, and soon the heavens opened and there began a heavy downpour. The rain sent everyone in the field into hiding,

Alexander. We were so close to capturing Derrick when I first noticed the heavy whirlwind that was heading toward the pack house. From where Kai and I were fighting, we could see the wind picking up everything and everyone in its path. The wind also scared some of the rogues that were fighting with us, as they scampered away for fear of being hit by the wind. The wind appeared to have picked up some of the rogues and Kai warriors as they kept groaning and screaming.Kai gestures to me, demanding to know what I think we should do.I needed no one to tell me who was behind the storm that was not heading toward the packhouse, as my mind reflected on what Jason had told me about Ashley's powers.I wondered what was prompting her actions now. Is she joining Jason's pack to fight against us? I pondered as I found myself a little confused.I turned to Kai and told him to try and get Derrick arrested since we had succeeded in killing almost all of his bodyguards. He nodded in agreement, after
