Chapter 20

*Bhairavi Pov*I threw the sword away and removed the cloth covering my face breathing in relief that no one from her Kingdom found her or doubted her.I do not want to go anywhere leaving Alastair. I waited for sometime before stepping outside and walked near to the chambers.I asked about the king from the few women standing near the doors and they replied him to be taken care of with the medical help and his family is inside.I glanced around to see that most of the men are staring at me and then Alastair stepped outside before glancing at me. He strolled near to me with a hard look while I frowned. He placed his hand around me and pulling my hair, making me stare into eyes asking “Tell me I am wrong. Tell me I am wrong that you are not the one whom we saw in the war place.”Now I understood why they are staring at me like that and I slowly nodded saying “It was me. But…”He cut me off pushing me away by force and let out many curses with his face becoming red.“All this time I tho

*Bhairavi Pov*“Princess!” it was about a few minutes since I climbed into the vessel but the word didn’t stop leaving from many people’s mouth.“I am so glad that you are safe, Princess Bhairavi. We all thought that you are no more.” King Vali uttered with pleasant tone who turned out to be the one found me near the shore.“How could you come here for the war by yourself with less number of soldiers?” I questioned him after we are already far away from the land of Nadir.“To prove your people that I am not going against their royals. I recently took the ruling on it, but not a single person is ready to be ruled by anyone other than you.” He explained and I gripped the railing feeling ashamed of myself for giving up on them while they were more than determined.“If I didn’t return to thank the person who saved my life then we wouldn’t have found you. This life I am living is because of you Princess as we didn’t know that there are so many people as per the news Council got. All the pe

*Bhairavi Pov*“Are you sure about this, Princess?” Ravi, the man who didn’t care for his life and stepped into Palmer to save her asked regarding my decision.“I want someone as my minister on whom I can trust my Kingdom with. However, do not worry about the pressures as there will be another one joining you when I find the proper person for it. You will be trained by the council regarding the duties and all you need is to be loyal to this land and me.” I replied, assuring him to not fear regarding the new position being offered by me.“You can enter the Palace and be the governess to look after everything to be in it’s place.” I added, glancing at the Maid who was there with me when I was in the Ramsey’s clutches.“I am honored with the position.” She mumbled before leaving the throne room while I ordered the few people to look after the little changes and inform me everything.“You need to take care about your health, Princess.” My personal Maid Tina mumbled when I continued to che

*Alastair Pov*“We would be reaching there in a few minutes.” Colton mumbled, rubbing his eyes as he just woke up.“Yes! We will wake up the remaining when we reach. They need to rest.” I uttered not looking away from the water.“You should have taken a little rest. It was a long journey and before this too you were busy with the pirates.” He suggested making me frown.“What if they are torturing her?” I questioned to myself and got an imagination of them harming her.“I do not think so. She saved the life of a King and that too who is the King of Tanika. She must be given some royalty treatment and showing her their gratitude.” He replied and I nodded because that can be true.“What if she left for her home and no one knows where she is?” I questioned another fear.“Are you ready to knock on every house in every Kingdom?” He questioned back.“For her I would.” I replied and got the answer. No matter what I should do, I will do it and get her back. How dare I am to reject out marriag

Chapter 24

*Bhairavi Pov*“I can look after all these, Princess. Why don’t you go and have a glimpse at the fights happening outside the palace?” Governess asked when we are standing in the chamber which was used to be my Parent’s but the décor and a few other things got changed in these few days.“No! The chamber attached to this was always unused before, so is it cleaned like I asked?” I questioned her pointing at the door through which we can walk inside that chamber if we want from this King’s Chamber also along with the corridor outside.“Yes! It has also got a new change inside it.” She replied and I nodded before stepping near the door. This was supposed to be my Mother’s but she never used it like the before generations as my Father always step to the new one’s leaving the old traditions. I will not let it pass to the next, but for me I need this space.“A working table similar to the old one has been brought from the Council Chambers and placed in the working room.” She added when I con

*Alastair Pov*“How are you feeling at this moment?” Colton questioned walking near me after few council members left congratulating me.“Isn’t that question to be raised for a bride?” I questioned him back with the irritation I am feeling of wearing a royal tunic and breeches.“She seems to be more than normal about this but can’t say the same about you.” Jacey replied for him.“Did you meet her?” I asked her with hope.“No! But we saw her from a distance.” Jacey replied and I nodded.“This seems to be so new. I am used to the plain apparel’s and not these.” I mumbled wishing to tear my clothes.“You are now going to be the King of Agatha. You should get used to them like she got used to our normal apparel’s when she stayed with us.” Colton uttered and I stopped myself from feeling any more irritation.“I can do this for her.” I whispered and stepped near the stage and Bhairavi joined me not staring at anyone.Colton and Jacey stayed with me while the King and Queen sat with other Co

Chapter 26

*Bhairavi Pov*I stepped inside his chamber through the connecting door and saw that he is lying on the floor and not on the bed making me frown.“Alastair!” I whispered his name while tapping on his uninjured shoulder.“What?” he asked with a sleepy voice.“I am going to call for the maids for water to have a bath. It would be good if you wake up.” I replied and he stood up with a frown.“I thought you will not be entering in here at all.” He mumbled and I remember my words uttering to him to not enter my chamber.“I never said that I am not allowed here. Anyway the maids shouldn’t talk anything about us and they will if we step out of different chambers.” I uttered before throwing the blanket on the bed and opened the door.“Tina!” I called for her and nodded at few maids who are walking around to clean the Palace.“Yes, Your highness?” She asked entering inside, but didn’t lift her eyes to glance at him.“Can you ask someone to bring water for the both bathing chambers and also cle

Chapter 27

*Alastair Pov*I glanced at the table which has some papers, but I do not know completely what are they about. I cannot see whether we are in more need of the livestock and the farming or we are in less. Then my eyes followed the woman who is pacing infront of the table holding a few papers with deep concentration lurking in her eyes. It’s been two days since I touched her as per her wish and also only I am uttering the words, but she is saying the things that are relating only to the Kingdom.I sighed, making her throw a half glance at me before staring back at the work she is doing and started writing down. She called for the Minister and he appeared within minutes.“Send this message to King Vali by someone trusted.” She ordered and he nodded before leaving.King Vali know everything but I do not know anything. I sighed again and this time she glanced at me directly with no work to do.“Are your wounds healed?” She questioned.“Yes! Is there something to do?” I questioned, raising

Chapter 28

*Bhairavi Pov*“Are you sure about this, Colton?” Alastair questioned him and I too sat in the anticipation of his reasons for choosing this step.“Yes! Within these few days I wandered around and found that I actually like this Kingdom. I was always very enthusiastic when you used to talk about any modernized things and now seeing it with eyes, I do not want to go back.” Colton explained glancing at me and I nodded.“But this is a very big step to take, Colton.” I pointed out.“I know! I am not asking you to take me in a direct way. I found out that you are going to give away a competition to choose your second minister and I want to participate.” He mumbled.“If Gavin is doing bad things at Nadir then you could rule that place than just being minister to this.” I uttered.“Let me be fair, Your highness. We all are a bunch of people who were living with minimal touch with other people from other land with a conception that Council is the bad guy. But it turned out they have their opi

Chapter 29

*Bhairavi Pov*“Are they here or even near to the land?” I questioned Ravi the second he stepped into the Palace.“No! But the guard said he will let us know the moment he sees any ship near to Tanika.” He assured me and I nodded hoping that everyone reaches here safely.“Colton seems to be impressing the Council too much.” He commented and I shook my head.“He is a good person and will be great minister. You both will be.” I mumbled and he nodded and we glanced at the place where the training is in the process.“The training is moving in a fast space. All the warriors were little concerned to know the King training them, but his highness is training them with something which they do not even know. With this our warriors will be more powerful.” Ravi continued to praise Alastair and I saw that he is showing the warriors everything he knows.“Did you send warriors to Palmer land?” I asked him and he nodded gesturing for me to sit making me give him an eye roll.“I am younger than you.
