*Melody Pov*"You can rest Melody." Kendrick voice brought me out of my thoughts.I shook my head and continued to look outside. I heard his sigh and then felt his touch on my hand.On impulse I pulled it back and closed my eyes. I slowly opened them to look at him under my eyelashes and saw hurt covering his face.I want to reach his hand and say that it has nothing to with him but the words are not ready to flow from my mouth. After a long journey we reached Kingdom of Hulind. I sat straight in stiff position while passing the kingdom while Amy placed her hand on mine giving me assurance that everything is fine.I glanced at Kendrick and saw that he just looked away from me to look outside with still blank look. When chariot stopped infront of the palace, I started to get down trembling after Amy. At the last step I was about to slip but Kendrick held my hand and placed his other hand on my waist.I started to move away from his hold but he had the steel grip on me. We both walked t

*Kendrick Pov*"So you have finally returned?" I asked looking at Juan who returned today after one week."Yeah! I just went to visit my parents for one day but looking at my wounds they made me not leave the home." Juan replied."Were your wounds in worse state?" I asked forgetting to get him tended by Bess when we returned."They were in Velimar but Queen sent me some paste because of which they have cured very soon when I was in prison. But the marks were there which scared my parents." He replied with a shrug."She took care of you so much it seems." I said and continued to stroll around the Kingdom to keep an eye on everyone."Yes! She even sent me some delicious food by Amy. By the way how are things going here?" He asked glancing at me."She still didn't utter a word looking into my eyes and she wants to stay away from everyone as much as she can. I am letting her so that she will feel comfortable." I replied what is happening in this one week."Take her for a stroll in the gar

*Melody Pov*I slowly walked towards his chamber main door but not the connecting door. I will stay outside his chamber and after knowing what he wants to say I will return to mine.Determining that thought I knocked on his door and he opened it few minutes later. I saw that he changed into comfortable clothes. He moved little back gesturing for me to move inside. I nodded entering against my determination which I made before knocking on the door. Then I felt him closing the door after I passed him. I turned abruptly around to see that he bolted the door.Calm down Melody! He will not hurt you. I thought slowly breathing."You asked for my presence King..." I couldn't finish my words as I felt his lips on mine.I didn't expect this in any sense and remaining senses left me when I felt him kissing me slowly. I couldn't help but just stay in my roots in shock.Releasing me he pressed his forehead to mine while I closed my eyes hiding away from his gaze. I slowly felt his hand on my smal

*Melody Pov*"Albert is not going to visit this week. He sent a messenger today." Kendrick said and I nodded at him letting him hold me."Why is he postponing? From one month he is doing the same?" I asked him frowning."I do not know. Maybe he got caught up with something." He replied shrugging. He says something everyday before drifting off and I too started conveying whatever I wish to say a little regarding the matters he speak to me."Ok! I am going to sleep so you can go to your room like everyday after that." He abruptly uttered making me gaze at him in shock."What? Did you really think I wouldn't know? Maybe not at the beginning but later I realized it." Replying to my unasked question."I know you may need time or you are not even comfortable with me. I can understand." He added before drifting off into sleep.I just lay there awake for sometime and returned to my room through which I walked inside. This one week I begin using our connecting door.I didn't get even ounce of

*Melody Pov*After he left closing the door behind him, I lay down thinking about what he said. I can understand his fear for his child. And he did not even know I know about the herbs and medicines. So I cannot blame him.But he could have not raised his voice in that manner. When he was talking I can hear the hurt he felt when I didn't trust him making my heart pain that I had hurt him.As I was feeling little more uncomfortable I asked all of them to leave after making him know that I am not hurting our Child.Tomorrow I need to talk to him. I thought and tried to drift off into sleep but I did after long time.I opened my eyes when I suddenly felt a strong kick from inside not like everyday. Felling them I remember how Kendrick placed his hands on my bump to feel it even when he was mad at me without talking to me.I felt it again and suddenly pain started in high level. I glanced outside to see that it is already morning.I tried to get up but I just couldn't feeling more pain at
