《The Alpha's Celestial》全部章節：第 11 章 - 第 20 章

Eva's POV ."I thought the Silverdawn pack only exists in folklore and children's bedtime stories." After everyone was settled down in Alpha's office Ezra commented, starting the conversation.Even though it took some time to convince alpha Nightwalker, he finally agreed to free Anubis since both Aziel and I didn't want to leave his side. So now, here we are, packed in a huge yet typical alpha office waiting for Anubis to explain everything clearly."Now, it is... But sixteen years ago it wasn't. Back then, Silverdawn was a very prosperous pack and everyone lived their lives as happily as anyone could ever be. We had everything we needed even though we didn't interact with other packs and outsiders. On the other hand, no one knew about our existence for sure either. So, it's not surprising that outsiders have only heard about our village through those folklores." Anubis explained, caressing my hand softly. Since the moment we recognized each other, he always showed his affection tow

Eva's POV ."NO!!!" I woke up with a start, screaming out of my lungs in raw fear and it probably might have awaken the whole house along with me."WHAT HAPPENED?!!" Without a second delay Anubis rushed into the room shouting, his voice laced with panic and worry."A- Anubis... Anubis..." I reached out, desperately calling his name."I'm here... I'm here. Everything will be okay. I got you..." He whispered into my ear, carefully embracing my sore body.I guess, I might have lost consciousness sometime around two to four AM and if I could, I would erase everything out of my mind without even leaving a single trace behind. But, unfortunately... I couldn't.The stinging pain at the base of my neck... the soreness between my legs... and the aching pain at my waist and back... Every single part of my body stood against me as witness for the things I had to endure throughout the night. Yet, I still didn't dare to admit that my own mate did that to me...It's okay for him to know nothing ab

Eva's POV ."She should wake up anytime soon now. I felt her pulse shifting. Please stay calm for a little while, second alpha..." I heard an unfamiliar female voice saying, but I didn't found it in me to wake up that easily. There wasn't any pain or discomfort in my body but, I found it a challenge to open my eyes or even move a muscle. It was like I've been living in water and now my body couldn't adapt to the gravity and light on the land. How long have I been out exactly? "They why does she still look like this? What's going on with her? If anything bad happened to her I will-""I swear to the goddess, alpha... Lady Eva is totally fine. Because she was in a coma for so long, her body may have had difficulty adjusting to the surroundings quickly. We should give her body more time to adjust." The female- most probably a healer explained hurriedly, disturbing her 'second' alpha. What was that position? Second Alpha..? Could it be that...I inhaled the air deeply and carefully, payi

Eva's POV ."D-do we have to buy all this?" I asked, reluctant to be a freeloader.I admit that I'm in need of decent clothes and I need to buy a dress for tomorrow too... But that doesn't mean that someone had to draw out a whole bank to do so."Of course we do." Dhalia replied, adding another bag to the dozen or so bags in Anubis's hands."But I... don't have money...""But I do." As soon as those words left my mouth, Anubis deadpanned, not leaving any room for me to argue."Fine. You still owe me sixteen years of spoiling anyway..." I gave in, muttering the last part under my breath."What did you say?" "Nothing." Avoiding my elder brother's accusing glare, I said hurriedly before Dhalia could drag me into another shop.It was really tiresome to go through a shopping trip with Dhalia but at the end of the day, she still managed to buy me everything I needed. And some things... Well... I didn't even know for myself that I needed those. But after lunch, I had no strength left in me

Chaos's POV ."Alpha Nightwalker is speaking..." I answered the phone robotically, not paying attention to the caller ID."Today is Eva's birthday. I thought you would be interested in to know." When Aziel's emotionless voice came through, I sat up straight and I felt Eros perk up his ears to listen more."What?! Today?""Yes, today. If you want to come I'll inform the border patrollers to grant you entrance. If not, forget that I said anything. Bye.""Wait!" Before he could hang up I disturbed him in a hurry, but I had no idea about how to continue or what to ask and I think he guessed that too since he volunteered to reveal more information."The party will start at six in the evening and she'll be around there till nine or ten. If she's willing, you can talk to her there and I'll make sure that Anubis won't disturb you.""Thank you, Az. I'll leave right now.""I'm not doing this for you. It's for her. I just think that you being here would help her go through the shift without fee
