"Yes, I can see that you are about to make one of the greatest decisions of your life. I know your mother will be more proud of you," Magaritha eased a cunning smile. She had since paused walking in our direction. She was listening to what we were discussing. The Alpha was quick to counter her. "Not so fast witch! She is going nowhere as long as I'm concerned!" He told Magaritha before, turning to me to repeat the words he had said. "You are going nowhere, Loius! As long as I live, I swear with my life that I will never allow you to move an inch away from me!" "I'm in support of all you have said, Ammon!" Entered Eric. "Where you stand is where I shall stand, there are no two ways about that!" Such a statement from the Lycans, I'm sure will not go down well with the Witch Mistress. From the current expression on her face, I could tell she was very annoyed and disappointed. Perhaps, she was unhappy because what she thought that she was going to get without a fight was no longer pl

The Alpha was about to react when all of a sudden, Eric showed up. He had just finished killing the last man he was fighting. So to speak, Bradley and his two accomplices were left with no army to protect them or to give some kind of leverage. Eric stood in front of the Alpha. "I'm sorry Ammon, but I'm gonna take this from here." He pointed at Derek this bastard son of the bitch, needs to be taught a lesson he will never forget!" "Oh yeah, look at who we have here," began Derek. "It seems to me that you have not learnt from our last encounter. I could have killed you on the spot but, I was so foolish enough to let you escape, by recommending that they should be put in prison. If I knew you would escape, I would have nailed you in the bud but, thank goodness you are back. It's time to correct the mistake I made the last time we met. Don't expect any mercy this time because you will never get one from me!" "Talk is cheap! Do you know why I hate you? You ought to know by now if you ha

I ran away from the scene without thinking twice. I had run about a kilometre then I remembered that I forgot to bring along the magic book. I was left in a dilemma. Do I go and pick the Magic book at the expense of my life or should I forget about it entirely and save my life? That was the question I asked myself. Both alternative answers to the question did not align with my interest. The magic book was pertinent to my journey and not just that, it was equally important if the curse that was placed on the alpha by Magaritha must be destroyed. I could not make a quick decision therefore, I stood in the middle of nowhere thinking of what to do. It seemed like it was one of the few moments in my life when my mind went dull. Magaritha's threat is real and not something I will have to gamble with. Because it was not easy for me to hastily decide on the next step to take, I had no choice but to find a good spot where I will rest my head and come up with a good plan.As if good luck was o

They all kept silent and stared at me for as long as they could. They could not talk but they can move. I really can't tell what the hell was going on! Was I hallucinating? It remains a question, I could not answer. I walked closer to one of the men. He was a talk huge man probably in his thirties. He stared at me as I approached him but did little to nothing. His colleagues also did nothing but kept gazing at me. Such as strange scenes! I wondered what was going on. Are these people real or was someone trying to mess up with my head? It was questioned, I cracked my head to answer but, no answer seemed to be coming at the moment.Suddenly, another thought came to my mind. I decided to try new things this time around. I glanced at the young man in front of me for a few seconds before deciding to do the unthinkable. I step on his toes with all my weight on his, to see if my action will elicit a response from him. He did nothing but, stared at me as I match his toes. It was supposed to

It was confusing! I did nothing but stared at the set of foods on the table. Seconds passed by! Minutes passed by but still, there was no sign of anyone around. The more I gazed at the delicious food on the table, the more it reminds me of how hungry I was at the moment. Although I stole some bread from the men I met earlier, I wasn't opportune to stop for a minute to eat. This was the moment I had to eat. Still unsure of what to do, I inched closer because the temptation to lay my hands on the food was growing stronger. I never rule out the fact anything could have when I began to eat the food. It could something bad or good, I'm not sure but, I had the feeling that something was gonna happen. At last, my feet and hands obeyed the order from my brain, I moved closer and sat at the table and placed one of my hands on the plate containing some dried meat. It was the last thing I wished for myself but, the impulse was too much for me to handle.I picked one of the pieces of dried meat,
